Depictions took place entirely in her imagination, says Wallace.

NEW YORK - Former McCain campaign senior adviser Nicolle Wallace says Sarah Palin's book "Going Rogue" is "based on fabrications," and that the basis for Palins depictions of her and former McCain campaign director Steve Schmidt as villains "took place entirely in her imagination."
In a statement to The Rachel Maddow Show, the former McCain spokesperson repeatedly used the word "fiction" to describe Palin's narrative and echoed criticisms by other former McCain staffers.
"She [Palin] probably has a legitimate complaint that things could have been better conceived and executed. A book about that would have been painful but not entirely unfair," Wallace told an msnbc producer in an off-camera, on-the-record interview.
Wallace took particular issue with Palin's version of her interview with Katie Couric interview, which did not cast the former vice presidential candidate in a favorable light.

Those Rinosaurs. Out with em. They are done.
I only made it to page 130 (teenagers at home), but I have already written a vanity on it.
Cheers!
So to get this garbage out, Nicolle Wallace calls a radical homo on the failed MSNBC. LMAO
Nicolle Wallace is without credibility and she seems very stupid.
Rabs,Sarah, in the Oprah interview, alluded to the fact that there are folks in these campaigns to whom politics is a BUSINESS, not something one does out of PRINCIPLE.
Nicolle told Sarah that the Perky One was a fan.
That’s all we need to know about whom to believe.
I wanted to let you know, Huck was at the Villages yesterday, news report said about 200 people were there. He has to be crying, Sarah is going to turn them out! I also got an email from Duval County - Jax email, they are doing some kind of thing to get people out to greet Sarah at her book signing there on 11/24, she goes from there to the Villages.
I am about 1 1/2 hours from both places, but I would have to take off work, the Villages starts passing out wrist bands at 7 am, and I can tell you I would have to probably be there in the middle of the night to get one, so I am going to skip it. Unless I change my mind.
Also Nicole whining that Sarah never liked her made me smile. Sarah seems to be a great judge of character, doesn’t she?
Don’t worry, Nicolle...we will make sure you NEVER work another GOP campaign for as long as you live.
Great term. Needs to move into the popular lexicon right away.
I hope that you are able to attend her book signing. If she were coming to Los Angeles I would be there in a heartbeat. Would be such a huge honor to finally meet her. Keep me posted, if you are able to go, expect HUGE crowds like you’ve never seen before.
As far as Nicolle Wallace is concerned, the fact that Sarah never liked her shows me Sarah has a good judge of character. I knew from the beginning, the second those BS rumors about Sarah not knowing Africa was a Continent or whatever that stupid story was, I knew it was coming from Nicolle Wallace and her fat ass partner in crime Steve Schmidt. They started covering their asses right from the start
Awwwwwwwwwwwww poor Huckabee..you mean no one really cares about his oh-so interesting book. I’m shocked! You mean the AP didn’t send 11 reporters to fact check it
Nicolle Wallace & Steve Schmidt, as defenders of the Communism-Lite wing of the Republican Party, seem in constant attack mode against Sarah Palin.
Dont worry, Nicolle...we will make sure you NEVER work another GOP campaign for as long as you live.
Sarah used just a few pages to “set the record straight.”
The more FR blows this up into a big attack on many people, the more they make her look like a paranoid whiner. Just my opinion.
Good idea, let her walk the other side of the street for a while. These “staffers” are nothing more than political whores, selling their services to whichever candidate happens to be on top. The mistake is in treating them as if their opinions matter after a campaign is over. They don’t, and even Fox looks ridiculous to have “former McCain staffer” on their air as a supposed expert. It’s like having the PA announcer from the Superbowl on ESPN to discuss game strategy. Wallace is a PR flack, that’s all.
I’m confused. Did McCain have a conference call with his aides and tell them to shut up? No wonder they suck...can’t seem to listen to the boss well.
“She hated me from the beginning”.
So now we know why Nicolle Wallace is bad-mouthing Sarah Palin.
Great observation and I bet you you are 100% correct.
old and out of touch mcpain
