Newsweek Cover On Palin Reads Like A Parody

Comes as no shock, Newsweek, the general msm attack a rising conservative star.

Are they loosing it? If they want Sarah Palin to go away and for the media to stop talking about her, maybe the media … uhhh … should stop talking about her! Looking into the political future of the GOP is like trying to see a pen cap at the bottom of a soy latte with double foam.

Look, so far I like Gov. Palin. I also like a few other conservative leaders. That said, I’m going to pick up her book this week like a few hundred thousand other readers and will specifically be interested in reading about her policy opinions.

Unfortunately, I’m not sure if the book will deliver what I’m looking for. Melanie Kirkpatrick from the Wall Street Journal writes…

GO SARAH GO!

"See, in order to be self-sufficient (we) must be allowed to develop, to drill and build and climb to fulfill our promise! We can not start believing that government is the answer. It can’t make you happy or healthy or wealthy or wise. What can? It is the wisdom of the people and our families and our small businesses and industrious individuals. And it is God’s grace helping those who help themselves." - Sarah Palin, July 26, 2009
SARAH'S FAREWELL SPEECH AS GOVERNOR - GREAT READ

Sarah still has the left, the DNC, the MSM and the RINOs all in a frenzy wondering what her next move will be and how it will be perceived...they almost literally froth at the mouth in their efforts to discredit her.

While they do this, and further discredit themselves in the process, Sarah is going on tour to give speeches and promote conservatie principles all over this country in the midst of the Obama administration disaster and gain great political capital in the process.

Then she will support conservative candidates in 2010 and help them win, amassing much more political capital. She will then take all of that capital and make an awesome, stunning, and successful run for the Presidency in 2012.

MANY MORE STICKER DESIGNS HERE

"...like that grizzly guards her cubs, as a mother naturally guards her own. I will keep that vow wherever the road may lead." - Sarah Palin, July 26, 2009

They sabotage their own efforts by running this cover photo:

THAT'S a granny? Hubba hubba!

But, that's just right out of the DNC/MSM playbook. It worked with Quayle, why can't it work with Palin? I don't think it is working.

All Newsweek covers have looked like parodies lately. Is Your Baby Racist? We’re All Socialists Now. The Recession Is Over, etc.

How do you solve a problem like Sarah?

She climbs a tree and scrapes her knee
Her dress has got a tear
She waltzes on her way to Mass
And whistles on the stair
And underneath her wimple
She has curlers in her hair
I even heard her singing in the abbey

She’s always late for chapel
But her penitence is real
She’s always late for everything
Except for every meal
I hate to have to say it
But I very firmly feel
Sarah’s not an asset to the abbey

I’d like to say a word in her behalf
Sarah makes me laugh

How do you solve a problem like Sarah?
How do you catch a cloud and pin it down?
How do you find a word that means Sarah?
A flibbertijibbet! A will-o’-the wisp! A clown!

Many a thing you know you’d like to tell her
Many a thing she ought to understand
But how do you make her stay
And listen to all you say
How do you keep a wave upon the sand

Oh, how do you solve a problem like Sarah?
How do you hold a moonbeam in your hand?

When I’m with her I’m confused
Out of focus and bemused
And I never know exactly where I am
Unpredictable as weather
She’s as flighty as a feather
She’s a darling! She’s a demon! She’s a lamb!

She’d outpester any pest
Drive a hornet from its nest
She could throw a whirling dervish out of whirl
She is gentle! She is wild!
She’s a riddle! She’s a child!She’s a headache! She’s an angel!
She’s a girl!

How do you solve a problem like Sarah?
How do you catch a cloud and pin it down?
How do you find a word that means Sarah?
A flibbertijibbet! A will-o’-the wisp! A clown!

Many a thing you know you’d like to tell her
Many a thing she ought to understand
But how do you make her stay
And listen to all you say
How do you keep a wave upon the sand

Oh, how do you solve a problem like Sarah?
How do you hold a moonbeam in your hand?

The leftmedia can't help itself. They hate everything Sarah Palin stands for and they know full well that she has charisma and popular appeal, so they have almost a knee-jerk reaction to attack her.

Mockery can be effective but it didn't work when they tried it, repeatedly, on Ronald Reagan and it won't work with Sarah Palin. Reagan's genial personality and common-sense policies overcame the MSM/DNC jabs at his intelligence and sanity. Of course, following the hapless Jimmy Carter made Reagan's job easier while Carter's ineptitude made it tough for the MSM to effectively cover for him.

By 2012, Sarah Palin may be in a position similar to where Reagan was in 1980. By then, if America survives, most Americans will be thoroughly disgusted with Obama's Marxist administration and the havoc his insane policies have inflicted on our economy and our security. The Obama smile and the smooth rhetoric won't cut it anymore.

Enter Sarah Palin. With her charisma and conservative policies she may be able to offer Obama-weary Americans the sanity and real compassion for working folks that Obama only faked. It could happen - if she chooses to run.

Agree. If someone wants to be taken seriously, they should understand basic word usage.

This is an error that makes it difficult to take the writing seriously.
