White House Defends Obama’s Bow to Japanese Emperor as ‘Protocol’

Politico: A senior administration official said President Barack Obama was simply observing protocol when he bowed to Japanese Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko upon arriving at the Imperial Palace in Tokyo on Saturday.

But why? We have a whole frickin state department that is paid to do nothing but understand protocol. Did they fire all the protocol people? Remember that Goldie Hawn movie Protocol? For pete’s sake, they must either have expelled everyone who knows the right thing to do, or they don’t meet with them or listen to them, or this moolie just goes off and does what ever he wants even knowing better because he just can’t resist shooting the finger, insulting people.

If I had to make a guess...considering I noticed considerbale weight loss toward the end of the campaign, I would say he’s taking stimulants and not eating properly. The first sign of sudden weight loss however, tends to manifest on the facial features.

Lucy, I have been busy and not paying attention. The youtube Drudge has isn't my slideshow. I note there are many youtubes of the ‘bow’ and have not looked at the rest of them but they all pretty much use the same pictures.

American In Tokyo posted many of those pictures and I gathered photos from the threads and made my slideshow. The first day many said it should be put on youtube, but I have never done that.
