The tactics of the Left are predictable and to date, they win the battle of the media more often than common sense. Recently, offering up Ms. Pregean as a target has provided the Left with no end of lively entertainment. It sounds a little like this; Ms. Prejean has publicly said no to homosexual marriage yet there seems to be pictures and film, from her past, that makes her a hypocrite. Conservatives either bow their head as though they lost another round or ignore the tempest in a teapot as it offers little interest to them.
Isnt everyone a little tired of letting the Left set the agenda? Most people got to their ripe old age (anyone over the age of 30) by going through a period of being young and dumb. Thats how we learned, mistakes are our best teacher. We know Ms. Prejean learned two things; dont take naughty pictures and homosexuality isnt appealing to her when it comes to marriage. She said so at a time when it would have been easier not to. For a while she was the darling of the Right. When learned that she is suspected for being less than perfect, many supporters turned away.
Memo to the Left; Sorry, you dont get to set the agenda. Carrie Prejean should be celebrated. She stood up to the guff she knew she would have to take; a lesser person would not have done so. Conservatives frequently scatter when faced with a good scrap. At some point in time, we need to learn to come together as a group and deny the Left the upper hand that they have become accustomed to taking.
The Prejean story will not make an ounce of difference the next time the Legislators meet to further erode our way of life. However, her story may provide an excellent opportunity for Conservatives to begin to ban together for what they know to be right.
I note that Bill Cunningham (Premier Radio) will have on Ms Prejean this evening. It will be interesting to hear what she has to say. For her sake, what ever the controversy, I hope she is one smart person and takes a lot of good old greenbacks to the bank.
She is young and has her life in front of her. (Old country saying by wise older people who like to encourage optimism).
“... her degeneracy and fornication...”
Sounds like someone has some issues they need to work through.
I think that we really can’t judge her until we have...ahem...ahem seen the evidence...
Besides I didn’t know screwing around and being in favor of gay marriage are really two different things...besides she makes conservatives like hip and cool and happy, and not stuffed up, mad, or really incredibly tight. Besides, do you that a Playmate of the Year is a big Rush Limbaugh fan?
One can only wonder at the intimate and private moments of her detractors. The left especially. Figures in the media and the entertainment industry that use their position to denigrate and destroy. Heck, one could throw in drugs and the rest of it and would not be far off the mark.
Again, one can only smile sadly or with amusement, at those who condemn. Maybe they were locked away in a monastery somewhere. (laughs). Third hour with Bill Cunningham Carrie will come on Premiere Radio, Bill asks rhetorically is she a hypocrite etc, in his lead up. As I said before she has a long way to go in this life. She has time to make a lot of decisions as to who she is going to be.
In life, we all make mistakes, but not many have the courage to face their mistakes, and not many are humbled enough to stop for a moment and think, 'hey, when I was young what dumb things did I do? '
If we were to record every bit of dirty talk, or note every sex-laced letter, every wanton look, every desire for our neighbors' spouse, every dirty thought, or every lustful instinct, we would all be in serious trouble.
Humans aren't perfect, but some of us strive to do the right thing, and sometimes we stumble, but we get up and continue on life's voyage. Only God knows if we are really sorry and if we are, He will forgive us. That's what being a Christian is all about.
I don't expect the finger pointers to understand what Christianity stands for, but they should look at their own lives before throwing stones.
Moralistic BS??? Some of us try to live our lives according to what you call moralistic BS. Sorry you find it to be BS.
Show me the pictures, go to jail.
As long as she’s not trying to get married to a woman while advocating that gay marriage should be illegal, she’s not a hypocrite. Making sex tapes is dumb, but that’s all it is in this case.

I love ACLJ, but their footprint is so much smaller than the ACLU. While they fight the good fight, they do not instigate fights around the country in order to win lawsuits/ federal money.
Would be nice to at least have nation-wide, card-carrying membership. Oh I don’t know, it just seems we end up attacked then fighting BACK. Which leaves it always in their lap to instigate, and puts us ever on THEIR agenda.
Let him with the free hand cast the first stone...
If all you glean from my post is to focus on the grammatical errors of a hurried comment then, God Bless you.

But she signed a legal document for the pageant stating that there were no nude pics or videos of her in existance. She was being dishonest from Day 1 about her history. And that dishonesty is what is so offensive, not the videos.
If she had been up front in the next couple of weeks, none of this would have happened.
But if you couldn't understand my original post, you probably won't understand this one either.
Well, the problem with your analysis is that it is presumptuous. The fact is, you don't know exactly what the language of the contract actually says. Frankly, we can't rely on media reports to settle this. The language might say, for example, that no nude videos or pics exist for commercial purposes, and not personal purposes. If that's the case, she would not be violating the terms of her contract at all, and she wouldn't be lying either. In order to make your point, you have to presume terms in the contract, and the fact is, we don't know the exact terms of the legal document.
I made it clear that I believe she made a stupid mistake and I have no qualms about saying so. I just don't gloat about the past failures of youthful indiscretions. Going on and on about every little bit of negative information (which may be of dubious veracity) and to draw pleasure in trashing someone who has publicly taken responsibility and is sorry for what she has done is wrong.
And yes, some people tend to lie to protect themselves. The same can be said about retreads.
You sure are naïve, aren't you? The attacks on Prejean don't come because she wasn't upfront, but because she spoke out against same-sex marriage. That's it.
The gays who have polluted the media and the entertainment industry are at war with this woman, and waited until she had her book out to bring the tapes forward, and whatever else they have. They are aiming to destroy her because of her statement - that's plain and simple. They would use any tactic, and any thing they can get they hands on, to destroy her. And if they can't find enough dirt, they'll make it up.
If you’re ok with her lying, I think we just need to agree to disagree.
No I can’t understand anyone that would defend this woman’s behavior as being anything but evidence that she is unfit for any role as a role model.
The fact that her private life has been leaked, is a pity. That happens when you send digital information illustrating yourself masterbating.
The fact that she defended marriage as a man and a women is no more significant than if she said that water was wet and the sun gave off light.
If TRUTH is your foundation, then by all standards, this person spoke it and for a while we cheered because so few speak it much less recognize it.
When your apologetics become mirrored by the left’s argument of: “don’t throw stones” etc. that is when you lose all base for your argument .
She isn’t a demon because she has been embarassed, she isn’t a hero because she spoke the truth and she isn’t a leader or model to uphold for obvious reasons.
She’ll do well in whatever career you can succeed in by flaunting your bosom in a bikini and using the natural beauty to titilate and lure lustful admirers.
There seems to be no limit to those.
As fer my spillin, i so sorry you wer uffended.
