The tactics of the Left are predictable and to date, they win the battle of the media more often than common sense. Recently, offering up Ms. Pregean as a target has provided the Left with no end of lively entertainment. It sounds a little like this; Ms. Prejean has publicly said “no” to homosexual marriage yet there seems to be pictures and film, from her past, that makes her a hypocrite. Conservatives either bow their head as though they lost another round or ignore the “tempest in a teapot” as it offers little interest to them.
Isn’t everyone a little tired of letting the Left set the agenda? Most people got to their ripe old age (anyone over the age of 30) by going through a period of being young and dumb. That’s how we learned, mistakes are our best teacher. We know Ms. Prejean learned two things; don’t take naughty pictures and homosexuality isn’t appealing to her when it comes to marriage. She said so at a time when it would have been easier not to. For a while she was the darling of the Right. When learned that she is suspected for being less than perfect, many supporters turned away.
Memo to the Left; Sorry, you don’t get to set the agenda. Carrie Prejean should be celebrated. She stood up to the guff she knew she would have to take; a lesser person would not have done so. Conservatives frequently scatter when faced with a good scrap. At some point in time, we need to learn to come together as a group and deny the Left the upper hand that they have become accustomed to taking.
The Prejean story will not make an ounce of difference the next time the Legislators meet to further erode our way of life. However, her story may provide an excellent opportunity for Conservatives to begin to ban together for what they know to be right.
She isn't terrible. She is irrelevant.

True...as for not being bright...I was watching one of those dopey entertain news shows and they showed a clip of Miss Perjean recounting what happened when she “meeted Donald Trump”. It made me sad that this young woman came off like a complete dolt. And yes you are correct, she was Miss California because of her looks not because of her brain power. A gay male friend of mine shares her view. Marriage is for men and women.

I am not quite sure why these old videos of Ms. Prejean make her a hypocrite, unless they are videos of her marrying a woman.

It certainly has whipped up a great deal of sighing, moaning & groaning from the left, and resident blue-noses.
Since some men in Washington wearing gowns have determined that “pornography” is to be determined by local or community standards, I propose that these purportedly offensive material be posted.
Then we could judge for ourselves and attempt to handle the matter to our own satisfaction.
Once we have a firm grasp of the matter and arouse the issue from its flaccid, tumescent state to a fully erect and turgid condition, I believe with a few firm strokes of logic and common sense the entire matter could be brought to a satisfactory climax.

Count me in with ya! She didn't go looking for this. All she did was answer a baited question from that creepy boy-ish paris hilton-type person.
She stood up for what she believed, knowing that it would lead to the discovery that she lied on her application and should be removed from her position.
But then she lied about that, until the evidence was revealed -- so in the end, she's not so much a role model as just another example of the lack of ethics training our children get these days.

You know what else is common? The left looks out for the fallen, they offer Monica two jobs with big named companies, they kept a bouncer employed after he stole FBI files, but the right wants to beat up on a woman because she wants to be a beauty queen or movie star. Have you seen what they wear? Are the all virgins? Someone needs to see how to fight the good fight and remember that forgiveness is a virtue. I think the line from the book is “... and go and sin no more.”

She wasn't exhorting anyone. She wasn't preaching to anyone. She was asked a question and gave her honest, sincere reply. She could've lied if she wanted to! She made sure to emphasize that in America people are free to choose same sex-marriage or heterosexual marriage.
Big freaking deal! Her private sex tapes and nude pics given to her boyfriend in trust only demonstrates she is not a dyke or a lesbo, and therefore she is not hypocrite. Also she evidently did those videos and pics for emotional reasons, not for money – this was in fact one of the dumbest things she could do since men like her ex-boyfriend had no qualms about selling her out for a few bucks. But that doesn't make her a hypocrite nor a whore.

What people do privately is their own business. The ex-boyfriend who sold out her privacy for a few thousand dollars is the real whore.
Was she right to make those tapes and those pics? I don't think so. I personally wouldn't do that. So yes, she was wrong, and she has said so repeatedly.
This is a cautionary tale: the next time you masturbate don't make a video of it and if you do, don't give it to anyone, or else you could be exposed at a later time.
On the other hand in this internet era our mistakes tend to surface and almost nothing is private anymore. So make sure not to pollute the net with so many grammatical errors in your posts, either, because I suppose that can work against you sometime in the future.
