Official guidance on how much we can eat each day has been underestimated for the last two decades, scientists have revealed.

The daily intake of calories - currently 2,000 for woman and 2,500 for men - could be increased by up to 16 per cent, the equivalent of cheeseburger or two packets of crisps.

Of course... Cheese burgers, chocolate cream pies, and french fries. The best thing in the world for you.

Giggling...1 little cheeseburger about every 2 weeks — well, in all honesty it’s a double cheeseburger.

That sounds about right, from my own experience dieting. The problem is, most people already eat more calories than they need, so most people are over fat.

Excellent! I knocked down a Carl's Jr. bacon guacamole Six Dollar Burger combo just an hour ago. I'm sure getting that Diet Dr. Pepper as the drink did it's part to neturalize that excess fat. Good to hear at least one doctor agrees...

Huh? Have they not noticed all the stupendously overweight people walking around? Which ones haven’t been getting enough cheeseburgers?

The reasons that so many people are fat are the fact that they consume 4,000 calories a day and don’t exercise.

Note to scientists, doctors, dietitians et al.

I’ll eat whatever I damn well please, once I get it to hold still long enough.

Yes, mostly in hospitals and doctor's offices.

Thus I freely blow smoke at the non-smokers. :)

Don't do it to me. I quit 15 months ago and when I'm around it, it gives me an urge to have one. So far, I've over come the urge and it's getting easier.

I haven't figured out yet how something can stink and smell good at the same time.

Too bad most burgers taste disgusting nowadays. Gotta make your own with good meat.

Any good recipe’s for making your own ground beef?

I asked the guys behind the meat counter at Stater Brothers to grind a chuck roast and a rib eye together, but they wouldn’t do it. They did them separately and told me to mix them at home.
