Remember how the Democrats reacted when the Bush Administration started replacing U.S. Attorneys? At least they were actually political appointees employed at the will and whim of the President.

Just wait until we take everything back in 2012. We will not be charitable like we used to be.With this article, and everything else they're doing, what makes you think there will be any elections in 2012?

Don't look for that anytime soon. King Obama and his corrupt communists party has literally taken control of America and we are toast.
Anyone looking to the RNC for an answer to the crisis America is in, is not fully aware of the facts. The RNC does NOT know how to fight the RATS. Why do you think they lost the 2006 and 2008 elections? It wasn't so much about what GWB did, but what he DIDN'T do - stand up the to opposition and fight. FIGHT like your life depends on it, because as you can see now, our lives are being destroyed by the opposition. The Constitution has been trashed by the very people who swear an oath to uphold it. Prison time if you don't buy the health insurance they deem appropriate and when the RAT leadership is questioned they have no problem at all saying it certainly is within the Constitutional provisions.
RNC is not where to look. When does civil disobedience commence? Answer Laura's poll today
Would you go to jail if the feds criminalize your freedom to not choose health insurance? (lower left)

Yesss. I know. We don’t have to worry on the day BHO signs any of his unconstitutional bills unless (1) it is not *subsequently* challenged, or (2) it is, but the SCOTUS drops the ball.

They forget one major fact... WERE THE ONES WITH THE GUNS.
They have the armor, and air power, and can track all goings-on on the internet without ever actually needing to get a warrant, can track phone calls and listen to what is said, and could just 'happen' to raise your taxes individually. They'll also jail you without reading your rights, and keep you there until you die.
Quite frankly, I don't see any good way out.

Is this LEGAL? Can these people challenge in court and say they are being discriminated against?
If not, when Republicans take back the Congress and the Presidency, I agree, there will be nothing to stop them from behaving exactly the same. Bush was too nice.

Their claims of diversity are to them anything but hypocrisy. Diversity is their identity, a reflection of how they look at themselves and their (Demonrat) coalition. They view themselves as being an already very large, diverse amalgamation of so many differing interests. It's often deemed unwieldly, for example as blue dogs bring forth a Stupak Amendment they don't like.
Anything "Republican" and ye-gods! That to them is no longer diversity, but ridiculousness and so bad a joke as to be open for immediate derision.
Anything that puts Republicans at a disadvantage is to be welcomed. Certainly all the free money Soetero intends to be throwing around in the future should not be allowed to be soaked up by any Republicans, let alone conservatives. Learn to see what's going on, please!

Problem is, even with the winds blowing in our direction, it is highly unlikely that we will take back ANY House during the 2010 elections. We will get a symbolic victory by knocking off Harry Reid, but the Dims have such depth that we need more than double the House seats that we won in 1994 just to reach parity with the Dims, and we need 10 Senate seats (also unlikely, even with a banner year in 2010).

See comment 133 as to how I think it is unlikely to take back any House in 2010. However, we will significantly narrow the gap and set up a sweeping takeover in 2012, where we will take back the House, Senate, and the Presidency.

Precisely - how much of the Porkulus bill still remains unspent? This is THE OBAMA STASH that freeloader in Detroit was referring to in the tv clip when the city was handing out "free money". It will buy lots of votes and favors in 2010.

I read the memo. Dont see anything about people currently in civil service being removed from their jobs. You are correct, and I pointed this out earlier in the thread, but no one is listening. This is red meat thrown into the Lions Den. The lions aren't interested in someone spoiling their feast.
To: Truth29
The memo merely states what current law and policy require. I suspect that this provision was widely ignored at the change of the Clinton Administration and that the same will occur at the change of the Obama Administration. This memo, therefore, is likely a CYA.
“I don’t know how that happened, I put out a very strong memo.” Director OMB, testifying before Congress.

Just for perspective: remember the Democrats threatened to throw Bush administration people in jail for firing United States Attorneys who happened to be Democrats. In that case, it was clear as crystal that U.S. Attorneys serve at the pleasure of the President and he can fire them whenever he wants. In this case, these people are now civil service employees who do not serve at the pleasure of the President and cannot be fired just because they are Republicans. in fact, the law is very clear on that point. I remember how upset the MSM was - they were jumping on President Bush with both feet - - now? Crickets.
