Had CNN spliced footage of a sparsely-attended Capitol Hill rally to discredit the reports of large numbers of attendees to the 9/12 rally in September, conservatives would have rightly howled about media bias. What will conservatives say about Fox News splicing footage of the 9/12 rally into coverage of Michele Bachmanns otherwise well-attended rally last week? Jon Stewart gives Fox News a well-deserved poke in the eye for fudging the footage, as well as exposing rather clearly its source:
The Left CLAIMED that live footage from the Middle East of muslims cheering on 9-11-2001 was “file footage”. It was genuine and distasteful.
Fake but accurate?
I guess a 'genius' like you doesn't care if the video put on as fact is fiction, so why stop there? Why not photoshop your entire news or 'opinion' piece and claim to be presenting the truth. I mean, if facts aren't convenient, why not make them up?
It's people like you that make me glad and willingly accept the criticism of not having a brain - because I would rather have integrity and demand to know the truth - then get flamed by an ignornat troll like you.
Words mean things, troll. If you want to clap and cheer when the Republicans get caught in a fraud - go ahead. Show us all how wise and smart you are. Just don't be a hypocrite and howl when the Democrats do the same thing.
You see, for an insult to mean anything, you have to respect the source of the insult. You are obviously not worthy of respect; because you don't care if lies are presented as truth. Don't you belong on anothe website? I think DailyKOS and the Democratic Underground thrive on photo-shopped video segments, insults and lies.
I believe a majority of the people here want to hear the truth. Tell me the truth, and let me decide. But, you are an ignornant troll, and seem not to care what the truth is, which is pretty pathetic.
I really care what John Stewart and his bunch of libtards think /s. It was a mistake, Sean has apologized. It wasn’t “childish crap” it happens all the time on other networks and the other side doesn’t even acknowledge the mistake, much less jump up and down screaming for heads to roll.
But this was the event
So willing to repeat the democrat mantra.
There’s a reason the TV comes first in “tv news”, they’re all junk.
Now, because I think that it's both silly and pointless to make a mountain out of the molehill of some file footage run on the Hannity talk show (when the title of the article falsely claimed to have caught "FOX NEWS" in a deceit!), you wish to imply that I have no integrity!?
You poor pathetic, insignificant tit. Best make real sure that all the deck chairs are where the rulebook says they should be as the ship slips under the waves, you chicken-snot, slunk-faced drooler.
Thanks for a much-needed laugh, you pitiable tit.

I know, but I promised the Little League team that I would never tell what you did...
LOL

Or Diane Sawyer standing in front of photo of the White House, pretending she was there.
Or anything Dan Rather ever said.
Or 8 years of Bush-smearing lies from the NYT.
Stewart has been ripping FOX up one side and down the other recently. And in every case it’s been with their own words.
Oh, please...
I’m a firm believer that watching *any* of the cable news networks will make one more stupid, not less.
Let's look at the fact (I know you hate to look at the facts; when it's so much more fun to attack the messenger). The fact is that footage from one event, was falsely presented to the public as being tied to a different event. That is a fact, it's easily verified.
I'm not the one who is defending a lie, you are. You are not only defending a lie; you are attacking a person who is denouncing the lie.
Isn't the policy of attacking the messenger the first play in the Democratic rule book? If you can't defend the message; attack the messenger, right? I don't have to imply that you have no integrity - you outright state that in each of your posts.
Now, you are obviously not a very smart person. A person with a dim intellect thinks that attacking a person wins an arguement, so in the interest of trying to enlighten a troll; I have taken the effort to look up the word 'Integrity' for you; it has 3 syllables, so you probably can't say it without moving your mouth.
in⋅teg⋅ri⋅ty /ɪnˈtɛgrɪti/
noun
1. adherence to moral and ethical principles; soundness of moral character; honesty.
2. the state of being whole, entire, or undiminished: to preserve the integrity of the empire.
3. a sound, unimpaired, or perfect condition: the integrity of a ship's hull.
So, without asking someone else, can you guess which of these definitions applies? Somehow, I doubt it. Do I need to look up the definition of 'honesty' for you too?
So a lie is only important in it’s magnitude? “Their” lies were bigger, so ‘our’ lies don’t matter?
Golly, call me old-fashioned; but I would really rather hear the truth, without fabrication. Just because other people chose to tell lies, is not justification for Fox to do the same.
If it was, in fact, just an error, and not deliberate, then it is excusable.
These things happen all the time. Photos and videos are often mistakenly mis-labelled. ONLY when it is Beck or Fox or Hannity or conservatives is it treated as some nefarious plot.
Bachmann's crowd was in excess of 12,000. There is no need to exaggerate.
Someone needs to be fired.
Figures the self admitted fake newz guy is in the same sentence as fudge...
The Hannity Show does not present it's nightly footage to FOX NEWS for approval. FOX NEWS has its programming, and Hannity has its programming. They are both separate entities.
While it is indisputable that Hannity's show ran the wrong file footage on the Bachman piece (and both acknowledged and apologized for the error), it is also indisputable that the title of this article and Jon Stupid's skit lays upon the doorstep of FOX NEWS the culpability for airing footage that FOX NEWS had no hand in selecting or airing.
It is an obvious and despicable, integrity devoid ploy to illegitimately smear FOX NEWS as being untrustworthy as a news source-- because of something Sean Hannity aired on his show. If you had to guess, which of the following is more important to this nation's current plight and shaky future? Whether Hannity erred on purpose, or whether FOX NEWS can be trusted?
Your playing along, by focusing on the idiotic film clip snafu, allows the scum trying to falsely smear FOX NEWS to get away with it unchallenged.
Where, praytell, is the integrity in that?

Why the delay? Checking your dictionary (again!)?
