Islam is a violent political ideology with its own set of laws(Sharia Laws) that require strict adherence or face severe punishment. Religion is only one component and is used to impose Islam on non muslim societies.

Ideas for a new book?
IRS regs do no allow churches and religious organizations to maintain a tax free status when they become a political organization.
Therefore when an inman encourages as part of his religious teachings, the overthrow of our government, his mosque is no longer eligible under the IRS regs to maintain tax free status.
One of the quickest ways to get these people out of our country is to take their money.
They're all on the same page, following the template. No doubt promised their own glory for their absolute complicity.
Not only does it breed it, it teaches it, it encourages it, it applauds it post-terrorist attack and it rewards it, sometimes with cold hard cash.
Here's a simple exercise. Make a worksheet with two columns, one for violent attacks and the other for the religion of the attackers. Fill it out based on attacks of the last 30 years, around the world, and you have your answer.
A fair question. A muslim colleague and I were discussing all of this and he raised a valid point - there are approximately 1.5 billion muslims in the world and approximately 1.4 billion of them are not involved in terrorism.
We often lose sight of this fact (yes, including me) and tar all of them with the same brush. Our disingenuous media feeds us only the stories about Islam that they know will inflame us.
Don't misunderstand my points, here, I'm not necessarily arguing either way about the question the article raises. I do think that some balance needs to be introduced into the discussion and an awareness that, for most muslims, their daily lives are little different from ours - going to work, being able to provide for their families, etc. Most of them don't wake up in the morning wondering who they will murder today.
Just something to think about.
Sad to say, it can only be killed through violence, too. There is no reasoning with Islam, no middle ground, no treaty you can reach, no place for tolerance. The only times Islam has been driven back - at the Gates of Vienna, for example - this has been done militarily at the cost of many lives.
It will have to be so again. But who will fight?
I think Hussein Obama needs to be pressed on this. We need a commission, like the 911 commission.
