"This is my party, too," she insisted. "There are a lot of moderate people - Republicans, like me - and I'm hearing from an awful lot of them. And I think the Republican Party needs to know if they don't have room for us and they don't want us working with them, we're going to find a way to work against them."
No, Dede, the Republican Party is not yours. The Democrat Party is yours. Your views are closer to Nancy Pelosi's than Ronald Reagan's. You are not a moderate. You are a liberal.

On Thursday, I asked former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, who had called Scozzafava's nomination a "train wreck," whether the GOP was better off with Owens headed to Washington. "No, not at all," he said. "The danger of pushing third-party candidates is that you end up with a Democrat rather than a less-than-desirable Republican." ...As if there was a discernible difference in this case? The only real difference was the 3rd party candidate. And that's why I supported him. Sorry, Huckabee, you lose...again.

She received an A rating from the National Rifle Association in each election since 2002...Big whoop. The NRA is like any other self-interested organization. They endorsed Arlen Sphincter over Pat Toomey when Toomey had a respectable chance of defeating Sphincter in the primary last time.
That worked out real great.

The problem is that you and your RINO ilk always seem to work against us anyway. The real question is whether you will work against us in the election or work against us in Congress after we have been suckered into working for you in the election.

It’s not your party, Dede, because it’s not the party of high taxes, abortion, labor union card check, or massive porkulus bills. Go hang out with your buds in the democrat party; that’s where you belong.

She acknowledged that many in the GOP would differ with her support for abortion rights and same-sex marriage.
Killing babies and sodomite “marriage” are not moderate positions.

No less-than-desirable republicans need apply.
They are the dross of the party, skim them off
and get to the pure metal.

This person clearly doesn’t understand that given a choice between a liberal Republican and a democrat, the democrat usually gets the votes.
If you are a Republican, and you try to out-liberal a liberal, it does not work.
