radical islam/psychologically disturbed—whats the difference?
All answers fit and complement each other.
FReeped & Bumped.
Islam is a psychological disturbance, a spiritual virus that causes mental illness.
Whoever came up with the ‘radical’ Islam thing is bonkers. There are Sunnis and Shi’is, basedon whether the tradition followed has 7 or 12 caliphs (hence ‘Seveners’ or ‘Twelvers’).
The Saudis are not only Sunnis, but they also follow Wahabbism, from Abd ul Wahhab, a nuts & bolts kind of person.
Everything else IS islam: “submit” (or else)—and references tribal traditions.
Suras
Hadith
Legal precedents
Tribal practices.
That’s all there is. There’s no RADICAL islam, just those who follow it to its conclusion.
I've said the same thing many times. The closest thing I can think of to relate Muslims to in today's world are the "Borg" from Star Trek.
Do you believe the Fort Hood shooter was primarily motivated by ideology?

Yep. That PC crap is going to get a lot of us killed.
We didn't differentiate between regular Nazis and radical Nazis or regular Imperial Japanese and radical Imperial Japanese during WW II.
Of course we didn't have a Nazi or Imperial Japanese in the White Hut at the time.
Well he was not de-motivated by it nor dissuaded.
So yes, he was motivated by religious ideology.
