It is a shame really that I am so cynical at such a somber time, but I gotta tell ya’ Obama cannot bring the level of dignity that this ceremony deserves.

Our military does Honors SO WELL that I am always left choking back tears by the end. The ceremonies, Retreats, Parades, Tatoos are NOT about the participants but the fallen and the mission. There is now way on earth Obama can understand that.

I wish those attending this solemn memorial would make it a point of meeting this evil man's gaze with a stern look of disgust...something like the look VP Cheney gave the evil one at the evil one’s inaugeration..a dead-on look of “I know who and what you are, and I do not fear you.

Refuse him acknowledgement and adoration and give him the back hand of your disgust.

I may be the exception- but to my mind this was not a tragedy. This was a terrorist attack.

I am really torn over watching this Fox coverage. On the one hand, in a remote way, I’d like to join in honoring the fallen and our troops, generally.

On the other hand, why is it newsworthy that Obama’s speech will be about THEM? I understand it’s a first that he’s giving a speech that’s not about HIM. But the coverage is sickening, as if the families and troops are just blessed to have him in their company.

I will continue to watch it, but maybe just mute.

really? really? They knew about this guy. WHAT DID THEY THINK WAS GOING TO HAPPEN??? Did they think that just shipping him off to Iraq or Afghanistan was going to solve the problem??
