Obama To Speak At Fort Hood Service (today)

Reporting from Ft. Hood, Texas - President Obama is slated to speak at a memorial service today at this grieving Army base, where a military psychiatrist is accused of killing 13 people in a shooting rampage.

The service, scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. local time, will be a traditional military affair, with a sermon, a roll call of the dead and a rifle volley. About 3,000 spectators, as well as the families of the 12 soldiers and one civilian killed, are expected to attend.

The tribute comes amid new questions about whether the shooting, in which dozens were also wounded, could have been prevented.

Authorities said Monday that the FBI and Army had apparently looked into contacts between the suspected gunman, Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan, and a Yemen-based militant Islamist prayer leader with ties to the Sept. 11 hijackers.

Investigators are poring over numerous e-mails sent by Hasan to Anwar al Awlaki and apparently to other Islamist figures, said a federal law enforcement official, speaking on the condition of anonymity.

I can already hear what he will say. It will echo Casey's remarks about diversity being a strength. He will read off the names of each victim to illustrate how diverse a group the victims were. He was call for caution on reaching any judgments about the motivations of the "alleged" perpetrator. He will say that the vast majority of Muslims are peaceful and do not support such actions. And you can bet that there will be something related to him personally just like his video celebrating the fall of the Berlin Wall. We can start counting the number of "I" s.

I don't know if our troops have the right to call for Impeachment or charges of Treason against obozo but our troops do take and oath and they must honor the constitution and defend this country at all costs. Right now this country is in danger and part of the danger is because of the President, his administration and many of those in his party. obozo is responsible for our troops and there seems to be an all out effort to keep our troops in danger and with little or no help for them. The Clintons also Left our troops in danger. American had to go to the UN to send help for our troops in Bosnia. The same old same old hatred towards our troops is taking place again. obozo and this administration is waiting for a massacre in Afghanistan, if and when he sends the troops it may be to late and they could also find themselves in the same situation as those troops that are there now.
Some were, some how our military must be able to file charges of TREASON against obozo and his administration.
Where are the military lawyers, what are the actions our troops can take to call for charges of treason and impeachment?

President Bush and a true first lady of America have already gone to Ft.Hood to be with our Troops in time of need.
What can an former President do to call for acts of Treason against this bozo.
You would thing President Bush or VP Cheney would have the right to call for Impeachment. There must be someone that can save this country.

ABC just broke in, said Obama is about to speak. My TV will be turning off. After his DISGRACEFUL “shout outs” when this tragedy happened, I wish the Army would have told him not to bother speaking.

There is a huge display in the Murrah Bombing Museum of the Clintons sitting with all the mourners and the Clintons looke they just swallowed a canary. It is so obvious the Clintons were not in mourning that everytime I have been there people comment on their expressions compared to everyone else. Trust me the comments are not complimentary.

I need to go back to the memorial too. I had the same contempt for Clinton at that memorial as I did for Obama today (no, actually BHO is more contemptable). I know that the Clintons were calculating the political advantage he could spin from the event.
