Metroplex Hospital in Killeen has sent out the following statement on behalf of Kimberly Munley and her family.
"Kimberly Munley and family would like to extend their thanks and appreciation for all of the thoughts and concerns surrounding Kim from around the nation. They are deeply touched by the outpouring of strength, thoughts and prayers that have been sent their way. At this time, the main concern for Kim's family is her safe and rapid recovery.
The family would also like to extend their heartfelt condolences to all those affected by the tragedy on Fort Hood. Mrs. Munley is very concerned with the well-being and safety of all involved and is hopeful that all injured will make a speedy recovery.
Kimberly underwent her second surgery this morning and is currently in good condition. "
Renewed prayers for all the injured.
Thank you for posting this. We’ve heard so little about the other victims still in the hospital. Prayers for their healing and recovery and for their families. God bless them all!
Anyone who wants to send this great American woman an E-card can do so from the hospital’s website:

Thank you for the reminder. In years past when Israel had all of those bombings, my heart went out to all of those with such terrible, life-long injuries. Same with this, while 12 people lost their lives, 30+ other’s lives will never be the same. Prayers of strength, healing and patience to them and their loved ones.
SGT Munley is indeed a hero and should keep a watch over her shoulder for Obama goons that aren’t happy with her. God bless this woman! If there were such a thing as fairness, this woman would be a hero to the feminazis!
We should start a petition to Congress for her Medal of Freedom Award.Obama won’t nominate her.
We have so many things to do, I don’t know where to start ... but only 8 responses on this thread for the hero who took down the terrorist executioner is so poor, I can only shake my head.
God help us.
I watched the memorial service today and after watching Casey speak, and his failure to mention Sgt. Munley and thank her, I walked away from the TV room at the garage where I was waiting for wifey’s car to be serviced. They disgust me. Did Obama thank her? I didn’t dare stay to listen. I was too angry, and didn’t want to start swearing in front of all the others who were there.
We must get behind Sgt Munley, and make sure that she is properly thanked , very publicly.
Praying for Kim Munley and all. God bless and be with them and with the families of all the victims.
