FORT HOOD, Texas (AP) - Soldiers and others are attending church services at Fort Hood, Texas, and in neighboring Killeen to pray for the man authorities say went on a shooting spree and to honor the victims.
An Army chaplain exhorted worshippers to pray for meaning in the worst massacre on a military facility in the United States.
Col. Frank Jackson expressed frustration Sunday as members of the sprawling Army post "search for motive, search for meaning, search for something, someone to blame."
He urged the congregation to "focus on things we know."

As a Christian I, too, pray for Hasan.
Search for meaning? There is no meaning to evil other than destruction of anything good.

This is the problem. It’s not Christian to be blind AND stupid. Search for meaning? Islam is evil. There’s your meaning. Allah is NOT our God. PC Christians are the worst. Especially those in authority.
Word is that obamination is going for the memorial “phot-op”—even though he couldn’t be bothered to visit the injured or pay condolence visits to the families of the dead. Maybe he’ll give a “shout out” to his friends, the radical islamists, while he’s there.

We are past the time for prayers. It is best we get on with the war and dispose of as many of these pukes as we can find as fast as we can ~ God will know his own in case of error.

An army of Jihadis vs an army of Christians that believe in “turning the other cheek.”
All you wind up with is a lot of Christian cheeks still attached to their heads, rolling across the desert floor.

Why do some Christians only remember the “gentle as doves” part but forget the “wise as serpents” part?

Col. Jackson is fortunate Hasan didn’t save his fire till today and be even more symbolic by launching his executions in an Army base chapel during a Christian service.
Jesus told us to go forth, to be wise as serpents and gentle as doves. He also said to sell out cloaks and buy a dagger.
He knew what we would be up against.
I can see praying for this mans soul before he went jihadi but I'll save my prayers for his victims and the heroes that took him down.
A little off topic: I read that Fox News is reporting that he has been taken off the ventilator. Does anyone know if that is because he is going to expire or he is recovering?
Right. And we’re being dumb as sheep instead of wise as serpents when we let those in authority, who follow political correctness and can’t point to the evil, instruct us. They’ll lead us right over a cliff OR to slaughter.
We already know, Padre, we don't have to spend the next week or year "searching"......we are not stupid sheep. God gave us brains and reason to connect dots.
I will not type here what I pray for in regards to the vile murderer. I read the complete article here and see little to nothing on the affliction, woe, torment, grief and pain of the victims' families. Almost EVERYTHING I'm reading this weekend is almost exclusively about the poor "demented" shooter and his peaceful "religion"!!!!!
Comfort and peace for the bereaved, distraught families are the ones I'm praying hard for.
God did not ALWAYS turn the other cheek.
