Obama Uses Crude Gay-Baiting Sexual Slur to Attack Tea Party Protesters

Barack Hussein Obama II, used a crude gay-baiting sexual slur to denigrate Tea Party patriots in a talk with House Democrats yesterday on Capitol Hill, reported the New York Times:

According to Representative Earl Blumenauer of Oregon, who supports the health care bill, the president asked, “Does anybody think that the teabag, anti-government people are going to support them if they bring down health care? All it will do is confuse and dispirit” Democratic voters “and it will encourage the extremists.”

The word 'teabag' is used to describe a sexual practice popular in the homosexual community. Earlier this year as the anti-big government protest movement exploded across the country, liberals in the media first started calling conservative and libertarian protesters organizing under the Tea Party banner, "teabaggers," in a juvenile effort to gay-bait the protesters. Democrats, including now the president of the United States, have also used the slur.

The gay-baiting slur was used with gusto on MSNBC in April by anchors David Shuster and rachel Maddow. Newsbusters quoted Shuster:

For most Americans, Wednesday, April 15th will be Tax Day. But in our fourth story tonight: It's going to be teabagging day for the right-wing and they're going nuts for it. Thousands of them whipped out the festivities early this past weekend, and while the parties are officially toothless, the teabaggers are full-throated about their goals.

"They want to give President Obama a strong tongue-lashing and lick government spending - spending they did not oppose when they were under presidents Bush and Reagan. They oppose Mr. Obama's tax rates - which will be lower for most of them -- and they oppose the tax increases Mr. Obama is imposing on the rich, whose taxes will skyrocket to a rate about 10 percent less than it was under Reagan. That's teabagging in a nut shell."

Newsbusters also reported the term was used 51 times in one segment on the Rachel Maddow show.

CNN's Anderson Cooper piled on the same week with his own gay-baiting 'teabagging' slurs.

My 9 y/o daughter, my 15 month old twins and I have attended local tea parties to protest, civilly I might add, the crazy amount of spending and taxation that has occurred since HolyO took office. He insults not just me, but my innocent children with this disgusting slur. >>:-[

Apparently HolyO's growing up in the gutter has just been disguised by a velvety smooth voice, good teleprompter skills and thousand dollar suits, and isn't truly ingrained as we've been led to believe. Color me NOT surprised.

I sometimes believe HolyO and his elitist cronies are seriously trying to start a civil war so that they can take control with the military backing them--but then I am comforted in the knowledge that he has rudely insulted our brave military members as well, with his shout outs to friends and nonchalant treatment of those massacred here on American soil and his photo op viewpoint toward those dead returning from other countries, and if he ordered an attack on protesting American citizens such as myself and my children, I would hope and pray they would rebel against him and his cronies as well!

2010 will be here soon enough. America is waking up, more and more people every day are seeing the truth of who and what he is.

We can wait. And plan. And implement the powers and rights given to us 'common people' by the United States Constitution.

That's right, love if ever felt at all isn't the same for a narcissist. Show him enough love, though, and the narcissist might want to keep you. Frank gave him psychological escape and that help commit Obama to being used by subsequent numerous handlers, many of whom aren't know but suspected.

Don't be so sure of that ... the protesting Libs of the past are not armed like most Conservatives. Further, most LEOs and the military tend to be Conservative. They will follow a lawful order to maintain the peace, but not utter tyranny as you propose.

Perhaps he should be provoked. Based upon his response to other provocations overseas thus far, I don't think he has the cojones to order an armed response to American citizens, especially one that is any magnitude beyond the initial action.

If he does, the response will likely be severe.

He’s acts like a 5 year old spoiled brat. When he doesn’t get his way, he throws a tantrum. He cannot stand criticism and people against him, therein lies his weakness. When he said the thing that bothered him the most in the past year, was when he was criticized for date night in NY at taxpayers expense, that tells you all you need to know. I’m sure MO went ballistic so that sticks in his mind. By now we should all have a feel for what really bugs them, I know I do.

I’m not sure if it was the criticism about date night that bothered him, or the fact that he planned to do it a lot and now doesn’t feel comfortable doing it. I noticed on their anniversary in October they went to dinner in DC and it was VERY obvious from the pictures that MO was not a happy camper that night. They were definitely barely on speaking terms. The photos showed her with major attitude, keeping her distance from him. He look meek and embarrassed.

Maybe she was mad about the Olympic loss, thinking he should have gone earlier, with her. Or maybe she wanted another big date night and he didn’t want the criticism since they had just cost us a bundle with the Olypic deal, taking 2 planes and all.

Kristinn, I think you’re reaching. Yes, zero used the word “teabag”, but he may well have said it unwittingly, that term having been bandied about a lot. He probably meant “tea party”. I’m the last one to stick up for him and that’s not what I’m doing here. I just think it was a slip of the tongue because nothing else he said contextually supports a homo slur.

Of course, that doesn’t mean it shouldn’t be used against him, if for no other reason than that the left would never hold back if it was Bush who said it. :) I will never forget the rat-driven “macaca” fiasco.

A misinformed, right-wing corporate media consumer who often fails to understand that BOTH major parties represent a corrupt plutocracy that steals from the middle class by taxing labor and profiting from corporate tax subsidies.

A teabagger also often fails to acknowledge that George W. Bush and his neo-conservative minions perpetrated one of the boldest and most egregious executive power grabs in the history of the United States. Furthermore, teabaggers mistakenly continue to blame a newly elected President Obama for all that ails the United States of America, based on a grossly flawed perception of reality (including latent racial prejudice) and despite the fact the U.S. economy collapsed on the previous administration's watch.

Teabaggers are also known to base their misguided, right-wing-media-inspired beliefs about President Obama on stupid conspiracy theories about totalitarian takeovers, FEMA camps, etc., despite the fact these very same theories have been circulating around on the Internet for years, and were originally ascribed to neo-conservative cabalists at a time when Barack Obama had not even entered national politics. Teabaggers also are known to be particularly paranoid, xenophobic and intolerant, especially with regard to immigrants and anyone who isn't white.

Additionally, teabaggers generally echo stupid myths about entitlement spending (it actually only accounts for about 1% of federal budget spending), have no idea that most poor people in America are not lazy, actually do work and don't want to be on welfare, and have no idea what socialism actually means or that socialist reform in this country is actually what allowed a middle class to flourish and ultimately make the U.S. one of the most prosperous nations in human history.

Furthermore, teabaggers incorrectly equate socialism with Stalinism, think a system that rewards greed (capitalism) is the divine preference (despite Gospel evidence to the contrary), and are shameless champions of a misguided belief in American exceptionalism. Teabaggers also fail to recognize the inherently unpatriotic nature of their failed every-man-for-himself ideology that ultimately vilifies anyone who supports public policy aimed at reaching out to fellow Americans in need. They celebrate an exploitative corporatocracy (holy creator of jobs, blah blah blah) while denigrating the little guy for being "weak."

Interestingly, teabaggers uphold an immoral, morbidly obese, twice divorced, draft-dodging, college dropout and known drug addict as their de facto leader, and are even known to advocate burning books. Of course, teabaggers fail to recognize the blatant hypocrisy within the GOP and tend to oversimplify all political debate and social issues, much like their pseudo-intellectual, fat-ass leader.

Finally, incredibly, teabaggers fail to recognize the hysterical double entendre associated with their proudly adopted teabag moniker.

Every village has its idiots, of course, but it's sad when citizens of any nation allow themselves to be whipped into a frenzy en masse by a state-run propaganda machine masquerading as a legitimate, fair, balanced and independent news organization. Teabaggers are right to believe the future of the U.S.A. is in jeopardy, but sadly they have not yet correctly identified the real enemy. Perhaps when teabaggers finally grow up and mature into thinking adults, they will see the right-leaning power establishment for the oppressive and cunning beast that it is.

Teabagger: We don't care that George Bush tripled the deficit and lied us into a war. The new administration only cut taxes for 90% of the population... fascists. Let's go throw some Lipton tea bags into a fountain!
