This morning I awoke to the news that the democrats have succeeded in passing their "health" bill. One lone Republican voted for it, thirty-eight democrats voted against it. In spite of the people's wishes this government has moved us another step into socialistic fascism. Just as Hitler did in his tenure as leader of Germany.
So, I am wondering today...what do we do now? It is obvious that protesting as we have with our Tea Parties have had no affect. Tyrants always have reason for tyranny and they will not be stopped by the American people protesting politely, even when there are hundreds of thousands of us at one place.
As most of us here I am very disheartened, indeed saddened deeply by what I view as what may be another nail in the coffin of freedom and decency. Are these the end times? Are we to suffer terribly for our nation ignoring God? I have so many questions which I do not have the answer to. All I know from my life is to do the right thing, to stand up for liberty and decency. To strive to prevail over what I view as this evil. But, how to do that? Do we continue to do our Tea Parties? Do we work on seperating from this nation and building our own? Would the democrats even allow that? Maybe someone can offer some clarity, some sound thinking on what the hell we do now. I would appreciate it greatly.

Ok we need to ORGANIZE.ALL anti Obama groups must be contacted and we need to come together . IDEAS? How can we , on FR , help organize a national strike? Also , we need thousands to contact Rush , Levin , Beck etc. and URGE then to call for a National Strike. Tea Parties were laughed at , that is obvious. Now a REAL message has to be sent . What steps are needed to get it rolling? We need al on FR to mail Rush , Levin , Beck and urge them to help organize a National Strike. I need ideas here , I need help . Who has GREAT writing skill on here ? We need to draft a letter to all conservatives talk show host to combine their efforts and promote a National Strike. They need to stick their necks way out this time .
Next we need a scathing letter drafted that we all can send to our “representatives”telling them they are toast next election.

I vote for a bloodless divorce into two countries. We are split just about half and half between those who want a constitutional Republic with individual rights and those who want a socialist democracy with collective rights. Each side is totally miserable with the ideals and visions of the other.
Enough of the pain and suffering and constant fighting. I no more enjoy seeing the socialists outraged when they lose than I enjoy seeing Americans for freedom outraged when they lose. We have turned into a stupid and raging nothingness and that will never change as we no longer hold a common vision and ideology in this country anymore.
If we can split peacefully and intellegently, both Nations would stand a chance to survive. As it is now, we are as bankrupt in the treasury as we are in culture and society. In addition the US has become too large to govern with a central government as it currently stands.

Really? Not if you can’t get people to take a freeking vacation day off of work! You’re not going to “stop the business in Washington” on a weekend.
Trying to convince the so-called Blue Dogs to vote our way was probably a waste of time (?), and although I took part in several Tea Parties, both at home and in DC, I'm not sure how effective those were as well. What do we do now?

Unfortunately, it’s not the “public” who’s voting...it’s our legislators...and they clearly could care less about public sentiment.

Agree wholeheartedly. We must begin to rally our military men and women. Camp Pendleton is the closest to me. A Saturday or Sunday works for me. I will stand at their front gate with a sign that says “DEFEND US FROM ENEMY DOMESTIC”.
On Thursday, I walked into the office of Grace Napolitano (D)CA-38 at 12:00 noon. I have paid many in-person visits since I confronted her back in April (see Youtube “AlexisHeavyMetal1981). I have gotten to know all of their staffers, Kevin, Perla, Vanessa, Ben, Steven. They know me and where I stand. I said that I am here today to give aid and comfort to my fellow American Patriots who are storming the House in D.C., ahead of the Health Care Bill vote.
I told them I will be outside on the sidewalk with my “Don’t Tread On Me” banner for one-hour vigil. 1/2 hour later, they approached me on the sidewalk, offering coffee and “pan dulce” (sweet bread). I thanked them for their hospitality, even though we are at odds.
So my 1-man rally lasted for 1 and 1/2 hours. I am united in spirit with you all. There is no turning back. The renewal of American Revolution 1776 has indeed started. It cannot be defeated, we will restore our country.
The fire needs to be rekindled. One-by-one, grab each of your family members and explain in detail what is going on now. Explain that we are re-living the times during the Declaration of Independence. They will understand if they realize our passion for freedom.
Tyranny may be upon us, but America is in my heart.

Good idea - it WILL happen - in hopes that they have sense enough to hear us one last time.

Million-man marches are fine, but YOU, as I, need to present ourselves FACE-TO-FACE with our very own congress person so that you can get into their minds and get into their heads the idea that YOU personally will no longer tolerate their behaviour. Remind them of the fate of tyrants throughout history.
YOU, THE CITIZEN, ARE THE PACK LEADER !!! With “CALM AND ASSERTIVE ENERGY” personally speak the words of the second amendment to them to their face. Ask him/her if they are truly on-board with the words of the Declaration of Independence to them. Make him/her begin to think uncomfortable thoughts about the consequences of their actions. Verbal “HAND BITES” to their ears. GET INTO THEIR HEADS !!!

They don’t know how many people amongst your friends and family that YOU have personally rallied to our cause. They do not know the strength of our numbers. They cannot really gauge this because of the corrupton of the voter rolls.
This is one of the most insightful comments I have seen in a long time. A country cannot survive with two completely opposite visions of what the country is: not when those visions are held with such passion, and by such large numbers. Your idea of a mutual agreed upon, bloodless divorce, is something well worth pursuing.
That sounds about where we are probably ending up because america is a house divided. It not stand the pressure of what will come as a broken nation.
