BBC interview by Gavin Lee with a member of the Killeen, Texas mosque outside Ft Hood, the Islamic Community Center of Greater Killeen, where Malik Nidal Hasan was currently attending. In the interview, http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00nrvhp#p0051bjj mosque member "Duane" not only refuses to condemn Hasan, but justifies their murder because "they were troops who were going to Afghanistan and Iraq to kill Muslims".
Duane : "I'm not going to condemn him for what he did. I don't know why he did it. I will not, absolutely not, condemn him for what he had done though. If he had done it for selfish reasons I still will not condemn him. He's my brother in the end. I will never condemn him."
Gavin Lee : There might be a lot of people shocked to hear you say that.
Duane: "Well, that's the way it is. I don't speak for the community here but me personally I will not condemn him."
Gavin Lee : What are your thoughts towards those that were victims in this?
Duane : "They were, in the end, they were troops who were going to Afghanistan and Iraq to kill Muslims. I honestly have no pity for them. It's just like the majority of the people that will hear this, after five or six minutes they'll be shocked, after that they'll forget about them and go on their day."
Over at Biased BBC they wonder whether this is the same Duane Reasoner quoted today by the New York Times:
Duane Reasoner Jr., an 18-year-old substitute teacher whose parents worked at Fort Hood, said Major Hassan was told he would be sent to Afghanistan on Nov. 28, and he did not like it.
He said he should quit the Army, Mr. Reasoner said. In the Koran, youre not supposed to have alliances with Jews or Christian or others, and if you are killed in the military fighting against Muslims, you will go to hell.
Reasoner was also interviewed by Stars & Stripes:
Just last week, Hasan expressed views that Muslims shouldn't serve in the military and fight other Muslims, according to Duane Reasoner Jr., a recent Muslim convert who had been having dinner regularly with Hasan.
Hasan had taken 18-year-old Reasoner under his wing, mentoring him in his new faith. After evening prayers he would often buy a fish dinner for Reasoner and sometimes the iman at the Golden Corral, a chain buffet restaurant. Besides mentioning that he prayed for a wife, the conversation almost never strayed from religion, Reasoner said, describing Hasan as warm and caring.
Looks like Hasan has left some disciples to continue his work at Ft Hood.
LOL!!! Wait until they learn that Golden Corral fries their fish in lard! ;-)
All muzzies take notice.
It IS time for you to leave my country.
Do not doubt me.
“He loved them so much he killed them to keep them from going to war.”
It would be more in keeping with Islamic sentiment to say, “He loved them so much he killed them to keep them from going to Hell.”
Is this supposed to be news?
This is why we need to stop being so surgical in our attacks on the Taliban.
Blast the ever-living hell out of these Islamofascists until every one of them is DEAD.
Don’t know about Texas, but Florida - back in the 60s - allowed anyone with a high school degree to teach.
Like Piglosi's NaziRats always say, "Diversity is our strength".
Here we have an Islamopiggy, living in OUR country, referring to Americans, American soldiers, as "them".
Wake up America! It's OUR tribe against THEIR tribe. Get with the program!
It is, as long as one defines “peace” as Daresalam - the peace which is supposed to descend on Earth when everyone is a muslim. “Tolerance” means tolerating non-muslims as long as they accept dhmmi status. The Judeo-Christian world defines both those terms quite differently - and muslims count on that misunderstanding.
This proves to me beyond shadow of doubt that muslims should not be allowed into the US. military
.
Tried to post this on a blog and got this: “Due to a rise in malicious comments... will temporarily hold and review comments for approval.”
I was responding to a suggestion that we should give the military lie detector tests. I don’t know if this will be perceived as malicious or not.
~~~~~~~~~~
“Why doesn’t the military use polygraph tests to weed these people out?”....
You are joking? Right? All they needed to do was ask Hasan. He would have been proud to tell them. So proud of his faithfulness to the Muslim jihadist ideology was he that he told numerous soldiers of his beliefs. And the soldiers told the brass. The Walter Reed brass knew, and the Fort Hood brass knew. Do you know soldiers risk disciplinary action by reporting suspected Muslim jihadists?
And while your asking the Muslim jihadist if he is a jihadist, ask him also if the fulfillment of his religious obligation is incompatible with peaceful co-existence with non-Muslims in a democratic Republic, he will be very happy to give you an honest answer: “NO, it isn’t.”
What are we to make of Americans who scratch their heads and ponder such possible catalysts for the Ft. Hood Massacre as pre-post traumatic stress syndrome and “compassion” fatigue. Were they to get the results of you polygraph tests, they would say, “Foul! False positive. The Muslim was under stress.”
An act that, in undeluded times, would have been called a deliberate, premeditated, traitorous war crime was to him a faithful and sacred ritual of jihadist genocide.
Who is betraying their oaths?
Here is just one example of Hasan’s oft-repeated unambiguous clear-mindedness:
Hasan also praised the murder of two US soldiers who were killed outside of a recruitment center in Little Rock, Arkansas.
“’This is what Muslims should do, stand up to the aggressors,’” Hasan said, according to Lee. “’Maybe we should have more of these, people should strap bombs on themselves and go into Times Square.’”
Looks like a good candidate for an Obama Czar to me.
“How many thousands are there like him out there?”
Tens of thousand or more - there was a poll taken some time back asking to whom do you owe you alligance: America, Islam, family?
Most answered: Islam, family, America in that order.
Exactly correct. The fish, veggies, taters, all cooked with lard and bacon.
Another small note about Duane, is anytime you hear the term ‘recent convert’ for anything, you can be sure that guy is sitting on the front row and will have extreme views proportional to his youth.
Not apologizing for the guy, he is sociopathic jerk, but have seen many new converts talk like this and five years later become a Methodist.
Black muslim convert shot up AR recruiting station too.
Vigilante time.
I completely understand American’s past history of vigilante acts.
Islam isnt so much a religion but a policial belief. They believe in total control of the Earth under the Islamic flag. Like Nazism, since the Nazis had religious overtones and wanted to replace Christanity.
IMHO, all Muslims, regardless of what they believe should be deported as enemy agents. But that will never happen.
Wow.
This guy isn’t a soldier, is he? From what I read he’s someone who attends the same mosque that Hasan went to..
He is very open about his hatred for our country, Jews and Christians.
Why does he live here? Why?
It's not just us. Much of the rest of the world is just as nuts as we are.
Have you checked out how the Muslims are pouring into western Europe and most of those countries are just wringing their hands about it, if that?
The Muzzies apparently have most of the effete West cowed and just hoping they'll either change for the better or go away. Lots of luck on either wish...
There is no such thing as a “moderate” or “modern” Muzlem.
Just ask the girl whose father tried to run her down because she got too “westernized.”
Every Muzlem is a closet jihadist. Even 0bama.
The actual quote from the book is from page 261 and is as follows: “Of course, not all my conversations in immigrant communities follow this easy pattern. In the wake of 9/11, my meetings with Arab and Pakistani Americans, for example, have a more urgent quality, for the stories of detentions and FBI questioning and hard stares from neighbors have shaken their sense of security and belonging. They have been reminded that the history of immigration in this country has a dark underbelly; they need specific reassurances that their citizenship really means something, that America has learned the right lessons from the Japanese internments during World War II, and that I will stand with them should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.”
They may have been lovers...sounds like the survivor is really pissed.
Conversely, I have no pity for Duane. He is obviously a little Pissant who is in way, way over his head. Nothing more pathetic than hanging out with teenage boys while praying for a wife. Good Lord......
