Incredibly, it appears that Maj. Malik Nidal Hasan, the alleged shooter in the massacre that resulted in at least 12 dead and 31 wounded at Fort Hood today, served on the Homeland Security Policy Institute’s presidential transition task force between April 2008 and January 2009 when Barack Obama was inaugurated as the nation’s 44th president.
This appears to be a GWU symposium report, not some sort of government or campaign transition document.

All I get at that link is a blank page, but the title of the article indicates a connection to Seung-Hui CHO - ‘China’s Forgotten Dissenters’ are Uighers, much in the news in recent times.
There were a number of Uighers in GITMO - living in Bermuda now.

The fact that he served on a transition task force for the Messiah is plenty troubling. Not surprising, just troubling.

Remember for doctors, making O-4 is like other officers making O-2. Pretty much automatic when they finish their residency. I have a classmate who was a dentist in the Air Force. He was a bird Colonel when he retired at 20, including the time he spent in dental school. Now he makes the big bucks as both an adjunct prof at the state's only dental school and as a private practitioner.

Yeah, perhaps nothing. The individual listed, may not be the same Nidal Hasan. Hasan is kinda’ like Smith, or Mohamed. There's lots of ‘em.
Now wouldn't it be delicious if this was the same guy? Sadly, I fear it may be too good to be true. But wouldn't it be great......... :-)

It was a homeland security adisory panel, not a Department of Homeland Security panel. It'w purpose was to advise The Messiah on homeland secuirty issues, before the elections and during the transition. So, The ONE, or at least his campaign staff, did indeed appoint him. We're probably lucky they didn't put him at the Pentagon.
He's officially Obummer's boy.
