RICHMOND, Va. Attorneys for John Allen Muhammad released a May 2008 letter on Wednesday in which the mastermind of the deadly 2002 sniper attacks in the Washington, D.C., area proclaims his innocence.
The rambling, handwritten letter was made available because of requests for a statement from Muhammad, his attorneys wrote on the Web page of their law firm. The letter was filed in federal court in connection with Muhammad's unsuccessful attempt to block his execution, the attorneys said.

At times like this I miss “Ol’ Sparky.”
I don’t think the execution will take place. I will be very surprised if this killer does not have a fleet of lawyers petitioning for his delay.
There is a limit to the number of appeals you can file. Matters of fact cannot be appealed after the trial and sooner or later all matters of law are exhausted. A lawyer would have to make a non trivial representation that some or another legal irregularity occurred that prevents his execution. All such appeals should already have been filed. Sometimes lawyers invent novel points of law, but at best those can only buy him a day or so.
Tell it to the judge........after your execution.......the ultimate judge.
Die! bitoh!
He probably pitched in to buy the car.
Part of the “Cash for Killer’s Clunkers”?
Of course he’s innocent. It’s simply racist to hold a black man to account for his actions. After all, he wouldn’t have acted that way if it weren’t for whitey’s oppression.
I knew the odds were extremely low but for what this bastard put my wife through every time I went out to the store or for gas during his shooting spree...kill him! Now!
This was predictable. There will be bleeding-heart liberals rushing to his defense, claiming that a Black man can not get a fair trial in this racist country.

This case is how old? 7 years now? He’s been on death row since 2005, and I certainly haven’t heard any liberal, bleeding heart or otherwise, suggest what you surmise above. The anti death penalty types will squawk, but I don’t think you’ll find anyone (with a shred of credibility) calling for his release. Mo’s problem was that he didn’t restrict himself to killing any one type of person.
He damn near killed the kid at school (not gonna get a lot of sympathy when you try to kill kids), threatened other kids with his communication, killed the black bus driver (was that his last kill?), so black folks aren’t running to his defense either.
Should it matter if this guy is “white” or “black”? He is a killer none the less.
I believe I remember that
when they were shooting people
and hadn’t been caught,
that the profile was that of
a white man. Probably military.
(You know, the “Timothy McVeigh” type that is used by every leftist to say “SEE, not all terrorists are Muslims!”)
I used to live in Florida when “Ole” Sparky malfunctioned. To me, It seemed to work just perfectly. :-)
If law was applied to everybody we all would be better off.
Reportedly Moose was chosen after Hillary put pressure on them to hire someone who was black. He might have caught the killers sooner if he hadn’t been fixated on the idea that the snipers were white (despite getting messages from the killers which used expressions peculiar to some black groups). In fact, if it had been up to Moose, they might still be terrorizing the DC area.
Followers of Mohammed have no problem killing infidels. After all, according to Mohammed, it is their duty to do so!
That’s another divergence that the left takes.
If the law/rule is applied blindly,
different “groups” are affected disparately,
proving the rule/law in and of itself is “racist” or “discriminatory”.
I wonder what name those he murdered would come up with, given the chance??
Unfortunatly you are right
Bad spelling!! sorry
