Al Gore has been advocating for climate change for 30 years and the former vice president says he is more than willing to put his "money where his mouth is" and invest in green companies.
In an interview on "Good Morning America" this morning the climate change guru commented on a quote from a story in Tuesday's New York Times which referred to Gore as the first "carbon billionaire," and said he was profiting from policies he supports.
Gore said the comment was from a "denier" and "certainly not true."
"I am proud to put my money where my mouth is for the past 30 years," Gore told Diane Sawyer.

Gore's daddy already did that for Al when his dad was a senator during the depression. He bought Occidental Oil stock of which Algore still owns.
Gore is putting my money where his mouth is...
He is a festering pustule on America’s backside!
Gore is a real sick opportunists. He knows damn well that the global warming bull is just that. He is nothing more than a con artist like all the hard left RATS are.
Algore invented the internet and global warming.
He and his lovely wife were the characters that the book “Love Story” was based on.
Algore knew nothing about the Whitehouse sleepovers, but even if he had, they were not illegal — there was no “controlling authority.”
Algore demanded a fair recount in Florida in 2000. He demanded that the Miami and Palm Beach votes be retallied, but not the votes from the Panhandle or the absentee military votes, because that would be unfair.
I would offer to flush this story but all I have are Algore Lo-Flos that don’t work.
Gore : “I Put my Money Where my Mouth Is”
and your foot;
And when was that debate with Lord Moncton?
Or ya gonna let him call you a coward ?
Ya coward!
I still wonder how Gore "knew" there was voter fraud before the polls closed in Florida, and why his campaign contacted a public relations firm in Texarkana to call Floridians to tell them their votes didn't count (also before polls closed). Could it be that his flunkie operatives were "wiring" the ballots wrong. The way you wire a ballot is run a straightened paper clip through a small stack of ballots (so I'm told). The wire goes through your candidate's punch. That way there's a invalid double vote for the other guys. My guess is they pushed the wire through the wrong punch and called Al to let him know they screwed up. I would also guess that you'd get a bunch of hanging chads by trying to wire too many ballots at the same time. Just a thought...
Ummm, no, Gore.
It’s called a conflict of interests.
This nut “burned” records and trashed careers to get on the public stage with a Senate subcommittee hearing into “rock music”. He ran for president in 1988 after that grandstanding and then successfully got the VP nod in 1992 and again in 1996 and presidential nomination in 2000.
He is a lying a&&hole who doesn’t care WHO he has to crush to get ahead in life.
And Frank Zappa’s kids were dumb enough to endorse him. Daddy had to be spinning in his grave over that one.
The only way to dimple that many ballots is by stacking them and poking “new” votes.
No, he wants to shovel us into ovens, by the trainload.
Outta my way! I have a baseball bat.
FIRE INNA HOLE!!!
The whole idea is to do a stack at a time. These are cards that have already been punched (actual votes). The result of a large stack can be hanging chads on some ballots in the middle of the stack and dimples on the bottom of the stack. Dimples to a DemocRAT means voter intent.
By pushing the wire through your guys punch one of 3 things happen.
1) If there are no votes for any candidate it becomes a vote for your guy.
2) A vote for your guy is unchanged as the wire passes throught the hole.
3) It invalidates a ballot for any other candidate for the office because it becomes a double punch.
The only way to fix this punch card tampering is to use electronic voting machines that use software that allows only a set number of votes for each office (President and Congress is 1). You shouldn’t have any double punch issues.
His colon?
