There's another communist association. Black Liberation Theology is based on Marxism. Twenty years of it.

But of course he only surrounds himself with Marxists and hires them for key positions. He isn't a communist himself. /s

...honesty from a libtard troll.

I'm amazed that they can even live with themselves. I don't envy these pathetic warped specimens of humanity. They have no shame.

Some of them are trolls some of them argue for kicks and some are hand wringing Rodney King/Neville Chamberlain types. None of them have the interests of our country in mind while spending all this time and effort. There is nothing there that I would emulate.

It is in the video.

In addition to his talking of ‘my muslim fsith’ he also said (paraphrasing) ‘I am one of them’ during a long drawn out love fest to the muslims.

Not in a Million years especially after 9/11. During the campaign it was racist to bring up his middle name. But it was perfectly fine for the inauguration.

That was Soros/ACORN rubbing it in our faces.

But pride goeth before a fall.

Oh...and I've thought Barry was a Muslim all along. Too much evidence. The jerk is a Muslim.

Not to take anything away from the video, it’s absolutely disgusting — makes me sick to my stomach, really...

However, if you are referring to the subtitled portion with the really tight shot. If you watch very closely you can tell he IS using a teleprompter, however it must be only one and it is either directly beside the lens, or directly below it. You can see his eyes going from side to side when he is reading in that section.

During the campaign the head turning was because he had two on both far sides of his podium and such...

In general though, you’re right — he doesn’t seem to need a teleprompter when he’s speaking about Islam (the speech at the UN was interesting when he was talking about all of the “false” & “stolen” historical accomplishments of Islam - he seemed to know that list of things by heart, did he not?) AFAIK, the only people who believe that list are those who ARE Muslim. Everyone else correctly attributes these strides to Muslims’ OCCUPATION of other cultures, and STEALING their ideas ad claiming them. [Also, Muslim leaders did assist scholars with “grants” and such despite not being Muslims within their kingdom(s). The only thing is as I said, all the advances made under this arrangement were claimed by the Muslims as if Allah had presented these breakthroughs in architecture, math, science, medicine, etc... like God presented Moses with the 10 Commandments!]

I have to disagree with Sloth regarding this specific incident — the interview where he said, “My Muslim Faith”. I watched a longer clip of the interview last year, so this is based upon my viewing back then, and now...

I do not, nor did I ever, hear any change in tone or inflection, or facial expression that would indicate Obama was being ironic or sarcastic. When we look at his response to George (in the longer clip - which I don’t have a link to handy), we can see he is totally taken out-of-step. He stops for a moment, George repeats what he said TWICE (IIRC), and Obama said something to the effect of, “Oh, I meant my Christian faith” (not a direct quote - just what I remember).

Again, there is no indication before or after his response that his answer to the question was sarcastic. And, his response completely flowed until George cut him off to point out his mistake. Obama didn’t even realize he had said that. Now, I don’t know if it was a Freudian slip, or nerves, but by that late in the campaign (and while talking to a ‘friendly’ given Axelrod’s friendship with George) I don’t think he’d have enough butterflies for it to interfere with his answers THAT much.

In fact, I firmly believe that it was this relaxed posture during the article that allowed the truth to slip out. I’m definitely a fan of the Freudian slip theory when it comes to this particular Q & A.

That's something I've been saying ever since I saw that interview with Georgie. As a Catholic I too see that there is no Christian anywhere that would ever make that mistake.

Ever!

Re: A beer-drinking Muslim

There were numerous reports in the media of Mohamed Atta and Marwan al-Shehhi going to Shuckum’s Oyster Pub and Seafood Grill, a sports bar in Hollywood, Florida, on September 8, 2001. Atta, al-Shehhi, and a third unidentified man reportedly drank heavily and played the Golden Tee ‘97 arcade game there.[62] The bartender said “Atta drank vodka and orange juice, while Al-Shehhi preferred rum and cokes , five drinks apiece. They were wasted [visibly intoxicated].”[63] Manager Tony Amos described, “The guy Mohamed was drunk, his voice was slurred and he had a thick accent.” Bartender Patricia Idrissi said the men argued over the bill, and when she asked if there was a problem, “Mohamed said he worked for American Airlines and he could pay his bill.”[64] Atta said, “I have plenty of money. I’m a pilot.” And he hauled a wad of $50 and $100 bills from his pocket, eventually leaving a $3 tip.

After watching the video of the interview (I posted a longer version at #60) I would have to agree that the remark wasn't sarcastic. But it's clear to me that it wasn't a case of Obama feeling comfortable with Stephanopoulos and letting his deep dark secret slip either. What happened is that he said "my Muslim faith" instead of "my alleged Muslim faith". He left it up to the immediate context to fill in the "alleged" rather than stating it explicitly -- which was reasonable given that he was in the middle of complaining about the Republicans alleging that he was a Muslim.

Here's the transcript:

STEPHANOPOULOS: You mention your Christian faith. Yesterday you took off after the Republicans for suggesting you have Muslim connections.

Just a few minutes ago, Rick Davis, John McCain's campaign manager, said they've never done that. This is a false and cynical attempt to play victim.

OBAMA: You know what? I mean, these guys love to throw a rock and hide their hand. The...

STEPHANOPOULOS: The McCain campaign has never suggested you have Muslim connections.

OBAMA: No, no, no. But the -- I don't think that when you look at what is being promulgated on Fox News, let's say, and Republican commentators who are closely allied to these folks...

STEPHANOPOULOS: But John McCain said that's wrong.

OBAMA: Now, well, look. Listen. You and I both know that the minute that Governor Palin was forced to talk about her daughter, I immediately said that's off limits. And...

STEPHANOPOULOS: But John McCain said the same thing about questioning your faith.

OBAMA: And what was the first thing the McCain's campaign went out and did? They said, look, these liberal blogs that support Obama are out there attacking Governor Palin.

Let's not play games. What I was suggesting -- you're absolutely right that John McCain has not talked about my Muslim faith [<--insert "my alleged Muslim faith" or "what my detractors claim is my Muslim faith" here to see what Obama meant.] And you're absolutely right that that has not come...

STEPHANOPOULOS: Christian faith. [<--here Steph messes up and assumes Obama merely misspoke and interjects to correct him]

OBAMA:... my Christian faith. [<--here Obama repeats the correction but quickly realizes that Steph misunderstood him and that he needs to give further clarification of what he meant...] Well, what I'm saying is that he hasn't suggested...

STEPHANOPOULOS: Has connections, right. [here Steph realizes that Obama hadn't misspoken but was using "my Muslim faith" in a shorthand way, and so now he is letting Obama know that he doesn't need to explain himself and can get back to his point, which Steph believes is something about people connected or allied with McCain's campaign making the suggestion that O is a Muslim]

OBAMA:... that I'm a Muslim. And I think that his campaign's upper echelons have not, either.

What I think is fair to say is that, coming out of the Republican camp, there have been efforts to suggest that perhaps I'm not who I say I am when it comes to my faith -- something which I find deeply offensive, and that has been going on for a pretty long time.[here Obama he recaps his point in order to clarify his meaning. He realizes he hadn't been clear and that Steph had misunderstood and made a of hash of things, and so he has to make this clarifying statement.]

My question to you is this -- given that Obama is in the middle of complaining about the Republicans accusing him of being a Muslim, which he obviously objects to, why would he at that moment make a casual Freudian slip and admit to the world that he's a Muslim? At that moment of all moments, how would he not know that he had just spoken of his Muslim faith? The answer is he said what he said on purpose but he relied too heavily on context to make his meaning clear.

It's a perfect example of how politicians must learn to speak in cut & dried, unambiguous statements. Otherwise what they've said can easily be misunderstand or distorted, both of which have happened to Obama in this case.

I see you “conveniently” ignored my post to you.

“Actions speak LOUDER than words” and no matter WHAT this clown has "said", HUSSEIN took his wife AND children to “Rev. Wrong’s” weekly anti-American/anti-white weekly diatribes for TWENTY FRIGGIN’ YEARS.

You can make all the excuses you like about what this clown meant when he said this and that but I repeat “No Christian worth their weight in salt would continue to go to those weekly HATE meetings for 20 years!”

And hopefully you & the rest of the Obots will "wake up & smell the coffee." Hussein is a fraud, a liar and phony as a three-dollar-bill!

Good Sunday! I'm off to Mass to pray for my fellow Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen & Marines who are fighting in Afghanistan & Iraq.

Semper Fi,
Kelly

People can attend a screwed up church and still be Christian. But as I said earlier in the thread, I think Obama is more of a Christian flavored agnostic than a real believing Christian. And the fact that Obama went to Rev. Wright’s church certainly doesn’t prove that he’s a Muslim.

“People can attend a screwed up church and still be Christian.”

Well then Hussein is either “screwed up” or NOT a “Christian”. In either case, he is NOT what he pretends to be.

“Christian flavored agnostic?”

You don’t really expect anyone to swallow that do you.

I suggest you pick up a dictionary AND a Bible and start READING them because there is no such being as a “Christian agnostic.”

At this point, you are wasting my time.

Cyaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

I got news for ya — when you go to church today, there will be more than a few people in your midst who would consider themselves Christian in some sense but who are deeply skeptical about the fundamentals of the faith — like whether God is really a personal God, whether what the Bible says is really true, etc.

Obama hasn’t made a big deal of his Christian faith because I’d say he has many of those kinds of doubts. I could be wrong, but I would guess that Obama appreciates Christianity’s role in unifying and giving strength to the black community (and other suffering communities) during tough times. And I would say he probably agrees with the notion that there is some kind of God or higher power. And for these reasons — and also for the more base political reason that most Americans like their leaders to be Christian to some degree — he has taken Christianity as his religion.

Thus he’s in kind of a grey area between agnostic and Christian. He himself may not really have the status of his faith figured out 100%. But I think that’s true of a lot of us.

I don’t see what’s so hard to understand and so enraging about all this. I just think you guys like barking at the moon.
