And like I said before, when I read the discussions here and on the blogs when the interview first aired, it was obvious that Obama’s meaning was being misunderstood by the more excitable types. When I watched the video a minute ago, it confirmed this. If you get a chance, you should watch full interview at post #60 which adds some context.

I watched the whole video before making any comment. He was obviously lying when he corrected himself and said "my Christian faith." His eyes clearly gave that away.

Eid al-Adha (Festival of Sacrifice) falls on Friday the 28th of November this year. Unfortunately Obama won't be celebrating it in Washington.......he'll be away on a trip to Asia.

Just an aside, Eid al-Adha begins at sunset on the 27th which coincidentally is Thanksgiving!

The interview is significant because it shows that whoever put the video together isn’t credible. That little snippet isn’t fair to Obama. It’s exactly the kind of thing liberals do to Rush. And there’s nothing else in the video that’s anything like convincing either, at least not in the first three minutes. If they can’t provide something solid in the first three minutes, I’m not going to waste my time watching the rest.

Yes, Obama was mentored and surrounded by people who were radical leftists and communists. But he’s not a communist. He just doesn’t sound or act like one. He sounds and acts like a European style democratic-socialist.
