STORRS, Conn. (AP) -- A University of Connecticut student committed an act terrorism by posting Internet messages telling people to "stop the snitching" after the stabbing death of football player Jasper Howard, university police said Thursday.

Sadly this isn't a new line of thinking. Look at the mafia of old... lots of people "didn't see nothing" whenever something bad happened.
Any comments from the College Football ping list?
UConn was trying to be “diverse” by having an Afro-Caribbean themed dance. It attracted holigans like the four charged with crimes, none UConn students, to go to Storrs which is in the middle of nowhere.
Looks like mission creep on the terrorism front.
It's other thugs that terrorize the population into not 'snitching'. By protecting one thug; they know that they too will be protected from the victims fighting back.
What will it take? Make those who threaten the masses into silence (the terrorists) punishment exponentially greater than the thug who committed the crime.
Thug 'A' stabs a player, and gets a Felony attack with a deadly weapon and spends a portion of his life behing bars. Thug 'B' threatens witnesses - kill him, publically and as painfully as our law allows. I'm partial to a 'hanging', myself. Just that simple.
If you can stop the snitching, you can get away with a lot more. Yee-Haa!
“Why do so many in our society think it’s ok to protect thugs?”
Bonasera: I believe in America. America has made my fortune. And I raised my daughter in the American fashion. I gave her freedom but I taught her never to dishonor her family. She found a “boy friend,” not an Italian. She went to the movies with him. She stayed out late. I didn’t protest. Two months ago he took her for a drive, with another boy friend. They made her drink whiskey and then they tried to take advantage of her. She resisted. She kept her honor. So they beat her. Like an animal. When I went to the hospital her nose was broken. Her jaw was shattered, held together by wire. She couldn’t even weep because of the pain. But I wept. Why did I weep? She was the light of my life. A beautiful girl. Now she will never be beautiful again.
[He breaks down at this point, and the Don gestures to his son to get him a drink]
Bonasera: Sorry...
[He regains his composure and carries on]
Bonasera: I went to the police, like a good American. These two boys were brought to trial. The judge sentenced them to three years in prison, and suspended the sentence. Suspended sentence! They went free that very day! I stood in the courtroom like a fool, and those two bastards, they smiled at me. Then I said to my wife, “For justice, we must go to Don Corleone.”
Don Corleone: Why did you go to the police? Why didn’t you come to me first?
Bonasera: What do you want of me? Tell me anything. But do what I beg you to do.
Don Corleone: What is that?
[Bonasera gets up from his seat and whispers into the Don’s ear; for a long moment the Don is silent]
Don Corleone: That I cannot do.
Bonasera: I will give you anything you ask!
Very strongly agree. I think we need to get a lot more Medieval.
i fail to understand how someone of such obviously low intelligence got into college in th first place. I mean, when we talk stupid this guys face is the first thing to pop up.
Looks like UConn is going through some growing pains. To improve the football team, they started hiring inner city thugs. Now the thugs are being thugs on campus. Other universities have dealt with this, hopefully, UConn can too.
After all, not every university can have a good football team populated with really nice college kids the way Ohio State does.
If you look closely during an Ohio State game, some of the football players are studying for class while waiting to take the field - it’s really heartwarming.

You forgot the sarcasm tags...
For Ohio States sake its a good thing they never embraced a motto such as Those who stay will be champions, lest it be completed by and those who leave will do 15-20. I agree with Coach Hayes. You win with people is a much better slogan, especially since felons, drug dealers and pedophiles are people.

There is this “Criminal Rights” mentality among most liberals...and some moderates.
Note the push to end the death penalty (and all the bogus claims made about it)....putting bullied kids into “conflict resolution” with their bullies....equating the criminal with the victim. Of course, Illegal Alien Amnesty can be added into this Criminal Rights
Stop The Snitching types are also part of the Criminal Rights problem
Making threats is perfectly acceptable.
It’s taunting that will draw the flag.

That's not our society.
Thanks for pinging the list sean, I was about 30,000 feet in the air when this got posted. Really appreciate it.
