That's not what he said. What he said was that the plaintiff was asking the court to overturn the election process. I believe that the plaintiff didn't have standing to begin with, only the candidates. Look, I don't like zero anymoe than you do, but there was ample opportunity to raise these issue with voters and then with the House. I do not want the courts involved with an election unless the parties have standing.

Ruh-roh. For Orly, this could be the most important paragraph in the ruling. Very ominous. For the lay people out there, it's never good when the court is "deeply concerned" that an attorney of record may have suborned perjury. It makes me wonder if a criminal investigation isn't coming, or already underway.

So it boils down to (1) standing, and (2) Carter’s desire for judicial restraint. Until the merits are addressed, somehow, somewhere ... nothing is really settled.

We do have a say on this matter, it’s called an election. We had 10 months to raise all of these issues with the voters and did so poorly. Instead we spent half the year bitching and moaning about McCain.

The investigation began after Metropolitan Police on March 25 pulled over Mr. Harris in Southeast on suspicion that the windows of his vehicle were tinted too darkly.
After searching Mr. Harris and his vehicle, police found marijuana and 21 credit cards that were not issued in his name or the name of a female passenger with him. Police also found eight printouts of State Department passport applications, and four of the names on the applications matched four of the credit cards.
Upon questioning by agents from the U.S. Secret Service, U.S. Postal Service and State Department, Mr. Harris “admitted he obtained the passport information” from a State Department employee, court documents say.

Mr. Harris also said the fraud ring submitted credit-card applications using the names and “identifying information” of the persons listed on the passport applications, and that a postal service employee then would intercept the cards before they were delivered to the appropriate residences.
Then, on April 17, 2008, Lt. Harris was found fatally shot dead slumped over the steering wheel of his car in front of the Judah House Praise Baptist Church in Northeast DC."

WHY is the requirement place upon anyone else but the candidate? He (BamaKennedy) did not get where he is all by himself. And whatever he is hiding, what I have NO clue it is reasonable that he LIED when he took the oath of office. However, none of these that take that oath have any intentions in upholding said oath. This judge NOTWITHSTANDING he made his call so now he can live with his decision.

You are exactly right. However, it is now out of Carter’s court, who I believe would have thrown roadblocks up in front of her every step of the way, and now can go to a higher court.
