BTW -— Obama NEVER takes a step or makes an emphatic point for the reason stated. He ALWAYS has an ulterior motive. Usually there is at least a 2-fer involved (kill 2 birds with 1 stone theory).
He prides himself and takes pleasure in his ability to deceive, not realizing it’s actually a compulsion. It’s his MO-—as are lies. Lying is a perfectly acceptable means to his ends and therefore a moral act. It’s the Alinsky way.

Yes, but this, the H1N1, started as a foreign-based viral phenomenon unique to Mexico, and came to our country mostly likely via open borders and a cavalier Obama Attitude to begin with, (probably him hoping it would get worse so he could solidify more power), in that sense the 1,000 dead (and growing) were just “collateral damage” and I highly object to that as an American.
It can not be determined who has the swine flu without testing for swine flu. Since the Feds stopped testing for swine flu in july, we have no idea - and neither do they - how many people have gotten the swine flu. They claim one million and that is a made up number because there is no scientific data being collected by them except for people hospitalized and who die.

Do you have any idea how many people die each year? For ALL reasons.
How about educating yourself and looking up how many people die in automobile accidents daily in this country ... or by week or by month.
How many die of pneumonia? Every wonder.
This is the biggest scam I've ever witnessed. It's the G#d D#mn Flu for crying out loud. It's no worse than any of the others I've seen and it kills old people, the very young and immunocompromised (cancer, AIDs, cardiac) patients like all the other bad respiratory infections do.
There is a reason for this clown to declare a national emergency. It's got to do with waivers for EMTALA or HIPAA regulations is what I'm thinking. Maybe a federalizing of the medical industry in order to "quell the emergency"

I've been sick for over a week now... probably some form of flu (no $ no insurance). Been doing my best to take care of my elderly mom who has been in the hospital since monday (went in for angiogram, ended up in ICU...great insurance thankfully). I'm here at home (mom banished me from helping her out til I'm well) weak as a kitten and my mom is now at her home, weaker than a kitten and dependant on home health... who won't show up til monday.
Why I'm finding this funny, I don't know... cold meds & foggy head I suppose. I'll be depending on my fellow FReepers to let me know when to tape my windows and go underground. :)

Democrats vote after they are dead, so Democrats [obama] should not be concerned for that reason.
My belief is that he is itching for any excuse to declare a national emergency in order to increase and consolidate his power.
For that matter, all dead people vote Democrat.
If we ever allow obama to attain the degree of power he seeks, we will rue that day.

It says we’re screwed. A big chunk of the Constitution can be turned off, legally, by a stroke of The Deuce’s pen. And, he’s doing it ‘for the children’.
I watch dancing with the stars and young blonde haired Darrin got sick with the flu. He said he tested NEGATIVE for the swine flu, but the doctor told him it still could be the swine flu.
It appears that no matter what flu you have it is going to be called the swine flu.

If they try to enact a mass vaccine operation in the schools, what happens with those who already guess (they have to guess because the Feds stopped swine flu testing back in July and are now pulling incident rates out of their fannies) they have had the flu? Do they have to get the shot too? That would probably put those kids at extreme risk of their immune systems overreacting to the shots given the immune system boosting ingredients of the shot.
If my kids have swine flu symptoms and I assume they have the flu when they really have a bacterial infection that should be treated with antibiotics I am endangering their health and the health of everyone they come in contact with.
Who in Washington has made the statement “our country is now under the control of Maxists. Our President is leading his chosen Marxist advisors in totally changing the direction and dynamics of our Republic”? I haven’t heard ONE..except Congresswoman Michelle Bachmann...come out and call it like it is. The Republicans, the Democrats and the few Independents all do the political dance..going in circles like Whirling Dirvishes.

With vit bottle in hand: I have been taking 10,000 IU (not 10K) per day for 9 months, doctor recommended (I live in the North). Getting complete blood workup this week, so will have Vit D levels checked also.

All: I have read (but not researched yet) that N-Acetyl-Cysteine is also rec as a preventative, along with Vit D.

Unfortunately that 36,000 deaths from flu every year is made up like all the other numbers. They were not collecting data on the number of flu deaths each year. Someone at CDC made that number up at the time panic over Mexico was welling up in April.
