A Florida judge ordered today that Fathima Rifqa Bary be returned to Ohio.
The 17-year-old religious runaway will be transferred into the care of Franklin County Children Services. To ensure her safety, the details of her transfer will not be released, the Florida Department of Children and Families said in an e-mailed statement.
Judge Daniel P. Dawson of the 9 t h Judicial Circuit Court of Florida agreed last week that Bary's case should be heard in Ohio, but he said he first wanted to receive documents detailing her immigration status. The girl is a native of Sri Lanka.

That judge just signed her death sentence!
This is another Elian Gonzales situation. When will common sense prevail?
I don't look for it under the current admin.
Of course not.
If she goes back to the parents, she won’t stay in the US. After that we won’t know what happens.
Another day, another koran command obeyed by 0’s admin.
Isn't she is being transferred to the custody of the (state/township)? (can't open the link... darn dial up)

She will live with a foster family on her return. Somehow I think she will end up in the hands of her father.
Oh, yeah! Franklin County Children Services - that sounds really safe. /sarcasm
Sorry for being this way, but I can’t help it. Islam is not a religion - it is a cult. Someone, family or other, will make the attempt to kill her. Just you wait and see.
Your post should be a Drudge headline (and the snooze media).
I remember many news articles which followed with... 'it's worth the money, if only one is saved' (and it wasn't about abortion)
They seem to choose which is worthy of: Do it for the Children.
I hope that you are correct.
How bout singing a little of ‘’p-ss on the victim’’ for us, judge, maybe dance little jig for the court room.
When will the appeal be filed? She should be 18 before that can make a round trip.
I hope you are wrong as to the child protective service. No offense.
Agree with you other thoughts.
If it takes more exposure, than we can do it. (gag on the use of the terminology)
God have mercy on her.
May the judge feel very vulnerable for responsibility for her welfare evey waking moment.
** 9 t h Judicial Circuit Court of Florida **
So FL has their OWN 9th CIRCUS court.
After ‘00 Election, NOTHING the FL Courts do Should Surprise ANY RIGHT THINKING AMERICAN!!!
If anything does happen to her, I hope that Floridians will remember the judge and act appropriately.
There's one difference here: Rifqa is old enough (and smart enough, given the circumstances of her first time running away) to run away again. I hope she gets a chance and takes it.
And I hope that some more good folks can step up and help her - at least long enough to stall for her 18th birthday.
