WAKE UP AMERICA, GET OUT OF THE FETAL POSITION AND MAKE YOUR VOICES HEARD. Welcome to the GLENN BECK television thread...Shake the cobwebs out of your brain...We are another day closer to the REVOLUTION that will change the 2010 elections. All comrades, infidels, sick twisted freaks and lurkers are welcome and are encouraged to participate in the thread! GLENN BECK,,,,,wind him up and watch him go! Join us won't you!
Now I am going to cry...
I find that I can’t even watch them. The very idea. I’ve never been military...my Dad was military civilian overseas and I did represent my country at an international school. I’m proud that I did an international baccalaureate and proud that my classmates voted me one of two people to speak at our graduation.
But it’s NOTHING NOTHING compared to what my dear nephew (and Godson) has sacrificed in the army. Two tours and two kids back home. The first one, he was doing convoys between Tikrit and Kirkuk...he is still uncomfortable when traffic stalls in America...(because the vehicles had to MOVE in Iraq or be targets)...
He also said despite the Democrats criticism early on that the vehicles weren’t armored enough...the armored ones couldn’t move as quickly. He said he’d rather be in a fast-moving not-as-armored vehicle...
It’s just interesting what you learn when someone you know is there. And my niece is going back again for VERY little pay compared to the danger. Because she believes in the cause...the American Red Cross does alot for soldiers.
I think of me....and I think of THEM and what they do and it makes me sad...
We stay home and we worry...and they go THERE for very little pay and they sacrifice and do not get the respect they deserve.
I’m proud of them...but I’m SAD for us...because so many do not realize the importance and sacrifice and nobility.
Oh well.
you know...I have never thanked you for your service...
You fought before I was born. You fought in a war, at the behest of your country...
And then your country turned on you.
Even though I wasn’t born, I read about that time and I am ashamed. Not ashamed that we were at war...ashamed that the nation turned against its own troops.
Read the post about my niece and nephew on this thread.
As I see Americans beginning to think they have no enemies and that any war is bad...I see Americans beginning to blame the people fighting,
Whatever I can do, wherever I can do it. Whatever I can say...whereever I have an opportunity to say it...
I will affirm the American Soldier.
Thank you.

Great garden!
My hubby has a compost pile and makes the compost (ick) tea in
the garage. He also adds worm...um...castings. He would LOVE
to talk to you! LOL!
We live in West Texas so our gardens don’t grow that well
even with help. It’s too hot a lot of the time...and WAY
too dry!
Thank you they’re working all of our patience.
Add me! add me! won’t be able to be on every day (making dinner!) but I love Beck...I’m in!
I am proud of my service and the experence I had. I don't think my life would have been complete if I had not joined the Marines.
It is so nice to see - at least so far - the citizens of this country understand what our young men and women serving today have to go through. Fox News does it best.
This time of year the posts are slowing down - the chat and advice continues. Just type in - weekly - into the FR search under keywords and all the threads will come up.
Here is last weeks (I post every Friday morning) Weekly Gardening Thread 2009 Vol.22 October 16
Did you notice the ad for Progressive Insurance during the first round of commercials?
I thought they were boycotting.
Tell him to visit the gardening thread.
All they need are the tartans.
I want to see what's behind the blue curtain!!!!!
Cute picture. I cannot help but be impressed by the dogs waiting patiently for their turn at a blessing. then the nightmare scenario of Bubba flashes into my mind. Over a hundred pounds of crazy black lab unable to control his eagerness, dashing toward the other dogs, cutting in line for a blessing. Oooooooo.
I take Patsy to the rectory every Monday while a group of us volunteer to clean up the church.
My priest has 3 labs of his own. He suggested that I bring over my puppy so that she could get socialized with other pups. One is a black lab who kind of sounds like your Bubba.
HH! The Beck Brigade.
Maybe he’ll invite them on his show.
He had a doggie on there today.
She is a real beauty.
I think it is "I am sorry, I did not mean that."
I love it.
FNC LOST 1 million viewers from O'Reilly to Hannity the other night...put Beck at 9, and FNC could GAIN 1 million viewers.
