President Obama went to New Orleans for the first time as president Thursday to visit a charter school and to hold a town hall meeting. While there, he told the people of the city that he is committed to helping them continue to rebuild, more than four years after Hurricane Katrina devastated the region.
Obama observed that the destruction on the Gulf Coast was caused not just by a natural disaster, but also by the failure of government at every level to prepare for it. "We will not forget about New Orleans, and we are not going to forget about the Gulf Coast," he promised. "Together we will rebuild this region and we will rebuild it stronger than before."

4th grader....Maybe 9, 10....I’m sure the kid reads the newspapers and watches the news everyday...and all morning on Sunday.
I’d like to think that the US commander-in-chief someday is someone that draws and demands respect. That integrity and strength precede him. That words spoken from the bully pulpit of the POTUS are taken seriously by alies and enemies alike.
We just do not have that today in Mr. Soetero; nor do I expect it with experience. His ‘Peter Principle’ moment was community organizing; shame on those who helped put this disaster in office.

I started to reply, but I knew that kind of question gives someone a lot to work with and it wouldn't be long before I found someone who said pretty much what I wanted to say anyway.
