House Ways & Means Committee Chairman Charlie Rangel (D-N.Y.) held a hearing this morning to certify that H.R. 3200 -- the main House Obamacare bill which was the subject of all the town hall rage in August -- has met all requirements to pass as a “budget reconciliation” measure.
Under reconciliation, the bill can be passed by a simple majority vote in the Senate -- just 51 votes -- and will be given preferential treatment on the House floor as well. The Dems have apparently invoked the “nuclear option” to shut out Republicans and ensure the bill is passed before the end of the year. (see link for more....)

It will also be necessary to end all leftist legislation that’s already in place as well as end all leftist legislation of the future that hasn’t been implemented yet. It really doesn’t matter how well non-leftists do in all future elections, if all leftist legislation that’s already in place as well as all leftist legislation that’s still coming in the future really can’t be undone.
Rangel and his cabal of commies may have created a bill in the House that looks like it, but "going nuclear" is going to take Idiot Reid and his cabal of commies in the Senate.
The Senate will decide...and I'm not saying Reid won't do it, but his ass is in a big sling right now, and I don't think all of his Demon-Rat colleagues agree with that strategery.

Only 46% of people voted at all. 53% chose BO. 23% of those now think BO is off base. The problem is not people missing the point. The problem is obama, his inner circle, and soros’s bucks. I understand. And while I agree — inasmuch as I, too, am a soldier — we need to understand that the force multipliers that used to work (voting, communication with representatives, and demonstrating) don’t seem to be effective any more. I suspect we are on the bloody-edge verge of a true dictatorship, where such tactics merely identify us for quick liquidation.
I agree people are way behind. For as many people who are waking up, there are still too many asleep or in denial about what is swiftly happening. Many, even here on FR, are looking to turn things around in 2010. I've said before and I submit again the 2010 elections will be a massive fraud or won't happen at all.

Maybe after Rangel finishes this he could give us all some pointers on how we could avoid some of the confiscatory taxes he imposes on the rest of us.

They are going nuclear to make it easier to pass and also to protect the Blue Dogs, whoi will be able to say that they did not vote for OBamaCare.
American voters have to target all Democrats, including the Blue Dogs. They all support ObamaCare, so we can’t let them get a pass on this.

You might be motivated to go down to the cafe or salon and speak up more -- talk to others in your community about the news.
You most certainly would be heard by people you know, who may not be of like mind, who may not hear anything but the TV news and don't understand conservatism.
Sometimes I think Freerepublic is encouraged by the leftists cabal as a kind of flypaper for conservative activism.

Did you really expect anything different? Seriously. With Democrats, the ends always justify the means. The sole purpose of rules is to handicap the opposition.
When the government controls healthcare, the party in power decides who gets care and who doesn’t. Deny healthcare based on party affiliation... sort of like a large scale version of what Obama did with the GM car dealers; kill off the ones who didn’t contribute to Dems.
