LOL, Sweden/Nobel Peace Prize is now a joke! No one will respect any Nobel Prize after this win. About time they completely jumped the shark. I wonder how my fellow Americans will take this?

He needed someone to tell him what to do in Afghanistan. The committee has weighed in.
To: marthemaria
This bodes very badly for those of us who believe (as I do) that the US should do whatever it takes, including troop buildup, to overwhelmingly mop up Afghanistan.
Zero has to now do a major BoJangles in front of the world.
It will be fun to watch, though....

“Clinton will be po’d.”
That’s what I was thinking. Libs love this crap. Bush could’ve cared less. Clinton’s work on his Aids initiative in Africa and his efforts for Middle East peace go unnoticed and Obama wins for being black. I wonder if they’ll be a backlash from moderate democtrats and some liberals. Ah, who cares.

LEESBURG, Va., Feb. 1 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Landmark Legal Foundation today nominated nationally syndicated radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh for the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize.
Limbaugh, whose daily radio show is heard by more than 20 million people on more than 600 radio stations in the United States and around the world, was nominated for the prestigious award for his "nearly two decades of tireless efforts to promote liberty, equality and opportunity for all humankind, regardless of race, creed, economic stratum or national origin. These are the only real cornerstones of just and lasting peace throughout the world," said Landmark President Mark R. Levin.
"Rush Limbaugh is the foremost advocate for freedom and democracy in the world today," explained Levin. "Everyday he gives voice to the values of democratic governance, individual opportunity and the just, equal application of the rule of law -- and it is fitting that the Nobel Committee recognize the power of these ideals to build a truly peaceful world for future generations."

I’ll try again.
Near as I can tell the Magic Kenyan got the prize for kissing the collective bum of socialist Europe and agreeing to sacrifice U.S. sovereignty on the altar of the U.N. Bonus points for making nice to those who would love to enslave us and who despise the Western values which have made civilizations great.
God help us all.

Greatest single news event of 1938 took place on September 29, when four statesmen met at the Führerhaus, in Munich, to redraw the map of Europe. The three visiting statesmen at that historic conference were Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain of Great Britain, Premier Edouard Daladier of France, and Dictator Benito Mussolini of Italy. But by all odds the dominating figure at Munich was the German host, Adolf Hitler.
