Just eight months into a Democratic administration, Newsmax is running a piece speculating about a military overthrow of the elected leadership of the United States government. Seriously.
Newsmax columnist John L. Perry encourages his right-wing readers not to "dismiss" the notion of an American military coup as "unrealistic."
America isn't the Third World. If a military coup does occur here it will be civilized. That it has never happened doesn't mean it wont [sic]. Describing what may be afoot is not to advocate it....
Imagine a bloodless coup to restore and defend the Constitution through an interim administration that would do the serious business of governing and defending the nation. Skilled, military-trained, nation-builders would replace accountability-challenged, radical-left commissars. Having bonded with his twin teleprompters, the president would be detailed for ceremonial speech-making.
Military intervention is what Obama's exponentially accelerating agenda for "fundamental change" toward a Marxist state is inviting upon America. A coup is not an ideal option, but Obama's radical ideal is not acceptable or reversible.
In April, a common Republican talking point was the notion that Democrats were creating some kind of "banana republic." In retrospect, the irony is rich.
There is an unmistakable trend in right-wing rhetoric in the direction of extremism and violence. It's not at all healthy, and it's a sign of conservative contingents gone stark raving mad.
I don’t think the present controlling authorities care...if they feel they are getting backed into a corner with their internationalist buddies breathing down their necks...they might let nukes fly and let the budding world government clean up the mess and enslave America!
There won't be a CWII, the left will turn on themselves long before we get there. The biggest problem the left has in such a scenario is that they are not self reliant. Their urban environments they created are not substainable, they produce nothing there. We can live without them, while they are dependent on us for food, power, etc.
All we would have to do is turn off the power or water (which are in "red" areas) and wa-la, sundown day number 2, the riots begin. Actually we don't even got to do that as some of their own policies (i.e. Cap and Trade) will end up doing it for us.
Why fight them, when we can just sit back and watch them take each other out.

The ones we’ll be at war with are these America hating marxist types that populate groups such as ACORN, and the unions such as the SEIU, and the AFL-CIO. Then there are the people who will be pissed off over having to actually EARN an honest paycheck for a change instead of waiting on that government check every month. Also there are the “la raza” types and other illegals to deal with.
