Apparently the movie audiences agree with Michael Moore. They don't like Capitalism either. They are going to express this dislike by not buying tickets for his movie.

If only he believed in Capitalism. Then he might just have made some capital.

You can not compare the jerks movie to the other movies premiering this week because it is a documentary (it is to laugh derisively).
In all reality it is not a bad showing for only 962 theaters.

Moore is to film as Joseph Mengele to medicine.

I highly doubt that his other “documentaries” did so poorly when they opened.
Besides, his movies are more on the fiction scale than the documentary scale.

In all reality it is not a bad showing for only 962 theaters. That was my thought as well. Although I'm not sure how they determine the stats, since I read that Moore handed out free tickets to union members - teachers and SEIU. If this goes by the actual number of tickets purchased at the theater at the time of showing then it's not all that shabby. It's also possible that lefties would buy a ticket for this joke but actually view another movie.
I just find it hard to believe that in these hard times the average joe is going to spend hard-earned dollars on a non-entertaining fake documentary. Call me skeptical...

I just find it hard to believe that in these hard times the average joe is going to spend hard-earned dollars on a non-entertaining fake documentary. Agreed.
The people that go to these movies are the true believers in socialism.
These movies are only shown in major urban markets where they draw viewers from large areas with high density populations of leftist.
Theater owners necessarily have to know the demographics of their markets.

For a guy that hates capitalism so much, he should be renting out his movie for free to any theatre that wants to run it. What would the price of a ticket be if the movie rent was zero to the screen?

Wow, if you figure $8.00 per ticket that works out to an average of 195 per theater. Then divide that by 4 showings and we're talking 50 pervs per show.
I realize he'll make money no matter but I wouldn't call this a Baffo success.
