they won’t need a tattoo... in local “child safety” fairs, they have been giving parents “DNA Kits” for their children, to take the child’s DNA via a mouth swab, and give it to local law enforcement to have it on hand “in case the child is abducted”.
Texas requires a thumbprint from each hand to obtain a driver’s license now (also must present a social security card, no joke).
Good of them to be concerned that I might lose one hand in an accident and lose my ability to prove (through biometrics) that I am who I claim to be on my card.
The point here is that it still has to be a choice.
I’m not sure what’s unusual about this. There were manditory vacines I had to have before starting school in Texas back in 1958. Was that a bad thing?
The states and local governements are supposed to have more authority to mandate things like this than the federal government. If the people don’t want this, vote for someone else next election, or move to a different district that doesn’t require it, or as you say, they can even take their kids out of school.
But its hard for me to see this as that big of a deal since it’s a local thing, rather than a federal thing.
And that unconscionable attitude, straight from Bobo's CDC, just caused the death of a Ft. Worth girl.
My daughter is 38 but I have a seven year old grandson I have to worry about now. I was having my daughter take him for his flu shot...but am trying to understand why the government thinks it is up to them instead of the parents.
TY, I’m in NJ too. I have children in elementary school. No official word through the school channels about this. Our schools are in a tiny Red enclave, they tell us everything!!!

No one ever proved its NOT harmful, just the say so of the government, (we are from the government and are here to help you...)

We were told we would have to wear masks between October and march while caring for patients!
I’m sure if he can find some connection between the flu vaccine and Diebold/the Joooooooooooooos, Alex Jones will be all over this. Heck, even an approving nod from someone connected to the Federal Reserve would do.

Really dumb policy for hospitals, they were out 1 nurse and had to pay the sick day, plus call in a nurse for the day from the nursing service they used....Should have been able to bank days to use when retiring or quitting....

Fat chance is right. I guess this is the result of years of letting them run wild with no supervision.
I’m from NJ and I didn’t read anything todayin the newspaper about mandatory flu shots for all students. I didn’t hear anything on the local news channel either.
I believe that last year, the state required kids in child care to get flu shots if they wanted to attend preschool and that caused an uproar.
