Most doctors and nurses have been exposed to so many germs, they rarely get sick....just use sick days and call them mental health days..(at least that is what happened in the several hospitals I worked at..) :O) If you didn't use your sick days within a year, you lost them....

Really dumb policy for hospitals, they were out 1 nurse and had to pay the sick day, plus call in a nurse for the day from the nursing service they used....Should have been able to bank days to use when retiring or quitting....
