Actually, my point is that there are some things that just aren’t subject to a majority vote,
and that’s what the Constitution is all about.
I’ve come to the conclusion that “as long as it’s a liberal doing it”, it’s OK with them - all of them.
In recent conversations with a lib over various issues, this was the only point of consistency (even breath to breath) that I could gleen from her point of view.

Actually, what happened was, he cut a deal for time served (43 days) then heard rumors the judge was going to send him to jail anyway. If it was true, and there is no evidence it was, the deal would have been void and he would have stood trial before a jury. Essentially, he ran away from having to stand trial.
Oh Whoopi, I think Roman will be able to tell you the difference between the two after a few well-deserved months in prison.
Polanski should be rehabilitated with rope.
I’m surprised Polanski is not the 2012 U.S. Presidential candidate. He’s got the slime of Clinton, the amiguous citizenship of Obama, the felonious nature of Barney Frank, and the accountability of Charles Rangel.
And only rape-rape is a crime. Rape is medal-material.
