"A local TV station that reported on Chicagoans NOT wanting the Olympics has been told NOT to run the report again, insiders tell the DRUDGE REPORT!
The Chicago Olympic Committee told FOX Chicago that its broadcast "would harm Chicago's chances" to be awarded the games."

Actually, I've heard that Daley and other Chicago bigwigs have been pissed off at Obama because he doesn't seem to care about the Chicago Olympic bid at all. Obama's through with Chicago, he's moved on to bigger and better scams.
More likely, one of the big union bosses that would get a bunch of the contract dollars from the Olympics had a long talk with the Fox Station manager regarding such things as broken kneecaps and concrete shoes.

Joe Ahern is a member of Chicago’s Olympic Committee and a perennial bootlicker of Mayor Daley of Chicago.
Ahern used to be FOX-Chicago News Director Carol Fowler’s boss when she was at WLS-Chicago**, back when he was General Manager at WLS. Ahern is notorious for squelching news stories unfavorable to politicians and CEOs. Check it out— I wonder if he called her on this.
Ahern got his start as a dancer on American Bandstand as a dancer and rose up in TV sales to run WLS (following in the footsteps of and taking credit for the work of TV Genius Dennies Swanson). Ahern likes to tell people he put Oprah on the map. Oprah likes to tell Ahern to stick it in his arse.
**The only thing less incestuous than TV News is the Ozarks. Or perhaps the Appalachians...
