Its not just conservatives who accuse the media of showing a liberal bias.
A new survey from the Sacred Heart University Polling Institute shows that 89.3 percent of Americans believe the national media played a sizable role in helping to elect President Obama.
And 69.9 percent of respondents view the national news media as intent on promoting the Obama presidency, while 26.5 percent disagreed, and 3.6 percent were unsure.
More than half of those surveyed, 56.4 percent, said the news media are promoting Obamas healthcare reform without objective criticism. Another 39.3 percent disagreed, and 4.3 percent were unsure.
A majority, to the tune of 57.6 percent, also maintain that the news media appear to be coordinating efforts to diminish the record of former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin. More than a third (34.6 percent) disagreed, and 7.9 percent were unsure.
It is sad when we find that only 55.9 percent say they expect the media to tell them the truth today, Jerry Lindsley, director of the Polling Institute, said in a statement accompanying the survey.

In other news 11% of Americans are clueless. Actually I'm surprised that the number is that high. It means that a lot of the liberals now have become comfortable with admitting media bias.

Hmm. Does this mean that we can now state the obvious without fear of recrimination, since a "poll" has found somebody who believes it?
I'm fed to the back teeth with "polls".

They only admit to what they can’t hide anymore from people and themselves.

Media lured the liberal white guilt voters. Color of skin lured the rest of the voters.

The communists leaning MSM got King Obama elected. ACORN held up their end with illegal registration. King Obama, America's garbage man, was elected by fraud, plain and simple.

Media lured the liberal white guilt voters. Color of skin lured the rest of the voters. And ACORN, SEIU and the DNC dug up the other voters who look up at the grass.

That 11% makes up the 12% who thought teaparty protesters were racist.

I think - at least I'm hoping - that the little gain the media got from boosting "their man" into office, will be offset by their huge loss of credibility in the future.
I think future candidates (if there are any) will be vetted much more closely by the people, who will be very dubious of anything the press says.
I'm hoping in the spirit of the "townhall" meetings, that candidates will have to get face to face with candidates in the future so that they can ask them the questions that the MSM will not ask..,br>
It's a damn shame it has come to that in America, as the press is supposed to be the watchdog of our freedoms, by use of their freedom of the press...but face...the main stream media is just another arm of ACORN. They see their whole existance is to enhance, protect, and promote obama.
I can only see such support of an enept president as a direct and sad reflection on the intelligence and morals of America's press corps.
Watch the media, read the paper...pick out one of their major advertisers per week, and send them a letter denouncing their choice of sponsorship of a press corps that has sold out. Make sure you let them know you'll not be a regular viewer/reader of that outlet for so long as they remain an extension of the democrat party.

It isn't anything that a serious observer could have missed, but it's still encouraging to see that the point has been made to so many people who aren't all that interested in how this came to be.
The bottom line is that the MSM don't care. They're openly partisan and loving it. There is, of course, the inconvenience that their market share keeps dropping but there's always the prospect of a government bailout. Real journalism isn't dead, it's simply elsewhere, and what remains behind is a celebrity cult whose denizens hope to make enough noise to keep themselves from noticing their own declining relevance.

I really believe it it around 45 %. A great deal of Americas are totally brain dead simpleton nitwits and the rest were bought off and are not clueless but hard core communists in beliefs. Government owes they everything.
