While this is excellent news as it may prevent children from getting the disease or even given to those who have bleeding disorders and need many transfusions. I can see it giving a false sense of security and a green flag to continue with a destructive lifestyle.

You must remember that a virus mutates. The AIDS virus has many different strains.
I recently saw on TV that the HIV virus has mutated. It was in a documentary but I don’t remember which one it was. It’s doubtful the new vaccine will help those affected with the new strain.

Ah yes. Another HIV vaccine. That is called a grant application. Don’t pay attention to the fact that no one has every shown that the retrovirus causes AIDS. If you watch, as I have for almost thirty years, you’ll see one or two of these announcements each month.

Just thinking out loud but I would wonder if they make allowance for the change of sexual behavior by people who have volunteered to participate in such a study.
Surely counseling on safer sex practices would have been made available to such a group, even if only by brochures in the doctor’s waiting area.

Well, since HIV does NOT cause acquired immune deficiency; since AIDs is NOT sexually transmitted; and since AIDs is not a ‘syndrome’; who the hell cares! Biggest homosexual scam ever perpetrated on heterosexuals. Absolute nonsense. I don’t even bother explaining it any more. It’s just too ridiculous.
There is a solution for GRIDS.
Quarentine those who are infected and let them die out. The disease dies with them.
Since the vast vast majority of GRIDS cases CHOSE to be that way they shouldn’t mind.
Any other disease of this sort would have died off already as the vector would have been quarentined back in the 70’s. But we allow them to continue going around spreading the poison (both GRIDS and homosexuality itself)
The problem arises with the few who did not volunteer for the disease. I don’t know of any living at the moment but there’s probably some out there.
Another poster said “don’t sleep around” which is exactly true.
If you and your spouse don’t have sex outside of marriage you can’t get a sexually transmitted disease.
If you avoid associations with drug users and perverts you severely limit your exposure to the disease as well. Keep your associations to good people.

We keep hearing about these “breakthroughs” with GRIDS, but they turn out to be hollow assurances. The remedy is often almost as destructive as the disease.
Maybe we’ll have a true to life “I Am Legend” type virus mutate from the vaccine huh? Seriously, developing a “cure” for a disease that is the result of man’s gross sin is just another step towards judgment.
What is up with continuously wanting vaccinate us? I think I’ll avoid AIDS the old-fashione way.
