There is a solution for GRIDS.

Quarentine those who are infected and let them die out. The disease dies with them.

Since the vast vast majority of GRIDS cases CHOSE to be that way they shouldn’t mind.

Any other disease of this sort would have died off already as the vector would have been quarentined back in the 70’s. But we allow them to continue going around spreading the poison (both GRIDS and homosexuality itself)

The problem arises with the few who did not volunteer for the disease. I don’t know of any living at the moment but there’s probably some out there.

If you and your spouse don’t have sex outside of marriage you can’t get a sexually transmitted disease.

If you avoid associations with drug users and perverts you severely limit your exposure to the disease as well. Keep your associations to good people.

There are multiple strains of HIV. If this only protects against one, then it's worse than no cure.

That isn't quite correct. First of all, you are right in that insertive penile intercourse (be it vaginal or anal) is about 10 times less risky than receptive intercourse and that additional STDs facilitate transmission. However, that pales in comparison to another factor: most infections are due to high viral loads, be it either from full blown AIDS or in the course of the primary infection (first few weeks). The reason why there are so many cases in Africa is because many patients go undiagnosed for long times and because of a "web" of concurrent sexual affairs (e.g. husband has 6 women on the side, wife has 4 affairs) in some African cultures. It's the concurrence, i.e. simultaneous occurrence, that is the problem: This way one primary infection is spread among the group which is linked to the next group and so forth.

That way the HIV pandemic in Africa is sustained. Because of diffent cultural standards, such a spread would be unthinkable in most parts of the US. But that doesn't mean that individual heterosexuals are "safe". STDs are rampant among promiscuous Americans, too, and men can get HIV from a woman with a sufficiently high viral, it's just less likely. Statistically speaking that would be the difference between a limited local(ly sustainable) epidemic and a pandemic.

That would mean forcing tests on 300.000.000 Americans, and even with PCR which is much more expensive than the standard ELISA test you'd have to hold them for a week or two just to be sure. Really? *LOL. Because there is no alternative, as looks are deceiving. Did you know that statistically in every classroom there is one child by the lover of a secretly adulterous mother?

Yeah, HIV has been around in Africa since at least the 1930s or 40s, and soon thereafter in the Carribbean. By the time HIV / AIDS was first described in scientific journals, it was way too late.

The problem arises with the few who did not volunteer for the disease. I don’t know of any living at the moment but there’s probably some out there.

I know a thoracic surgeon who got infected because he cut his hand on the bone of his patient while operating. Did he volunteer?
