In declaring that it is time for Middle East peace "without preconditions," President Obama used his speech to the U.N. General Assembly Wednesday to fire a warning at Israel that "America does not accept the legitimacy of continued Israeli settlements."
Obama's stark declaration, which drew applause, was coupled with a call for Palestinians to end their "incitement of Israel."
But it was the use of the U.N. forum to carry the settlement message to Israel that drew the most enthusiastic response on the floor -- and incredulous reaction outside its walls.
Obama just put Israel "on the chopping block," said former U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. John Bolton.
Obama said he met Tuesday with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who was not in attendance at the speech, and agreed that the two have made some progress in both strengthening security and facilitating freedom of movement, which have allowed the economy in the West Bank to grow.
But more progress is needed, he said.

Never heard of that. Link?
Anti-semetic???? I’m quoting the Old Testament. It was not a value judgement either. Yes, Israel is beloved of God (I’m not afraid to use the full spelling either). Yes, God’s eye will never leave them. However, He has, over the course of history, removed His Grace from them when they fell away from His Word. These are facts clearly documented in the Bible. Before you accuse someone you don’t know of being anti-semitic you might (1) know a little more about Israel’s history, and (2) ask questions of the poster as to what he/she was referring to. Making assumptions oft leads to inaccurate perceptions.
When I think of world leaders, I have to think of Bibi as more in tune with my own thinking than that POTUS. Never, ever could have imagined it.
“America is now officially numbered among the enemies of Israel.”
I guess this is the part in the Bible that refers to all nations coming against Israel. I never believed it could happen til bo was elected. End times prophecy is being played out in our lifetimes, right before our eyes.
God help those of us who pray and love Israel. We do not support this treasonous action.
Like most American Jews care about Israel.
So? lol. American Jews have nothing in common with Israeli Jews of today.
“its because the right is historically Christian and the Jews are afraid of becomming Christians.”
Absolute bolderdash. Never met a single Jew who was “afraid of becomming Christian.”
The issue has more to do with being North Eastern urban than anything.
I understand (although don't agree with it) this reflexive fear of all things religious - to the extent that the religion is celebrated by the majority of their host country. Clearly, that hasn't always turned out so well from a Hebrew historical perspective.
What puzzles me however, is this deeply sewn thread of acceptance for socialism and communism that is seen in America's Jewish population, and especially the intellectual and secular Jewish population. What's the historical impetus for that?
Navin R. Johnson: Well I’m gonna to go then. And I don’t need any of this. I don’t need this stuff, and I don’t need you. I don’t need anything except this.
[picks up an ashtray]
Navin R. Johnson: And that’s it and that’s the only thing I need, is this. I don’t need this or this. Just this ashtray. And this paddle game, the ashtray and the paddle game and that’s all I need. And this remote control. The ashtray, the paddle game, and the remote control, and that’s all I need. And these matches. The ashtray, and these matches, and the remote control and the paddle ball. And this lamp. The ashtray, this paddle game and the remote control and the lamp and that’s all I need. And that’s all I need too. I don’t need one other thing, not one - I need this. The paddle game, and the chair, and the remote control, and the matches, for sure. And this. And that’s all I need. The ashtray, the remote control, the paddle game, this magazine and the chair.
We are still armed...and the people are waking up by the millions. There will be another constitutional election, one way or another.
A very good friend of mine is a liberal Jew. I know what you speak of. Although in his case I don't think he will support 0 the next time around.
"Because Obama said so" will be the reply
Well I’m of the U.S. and I DO so stuff it Mr.President.
Infact, better yet, let’s put it to a vote in the Congress. Somehow I think most Dems won’t dare to support your statement. Which if I’m right means it is not the US but OBAMA and Obama solely walking that plank.
Obama is not the U.S. President. The world can have him. He needs to leave now. 2010 will make no difference-this man is on a mission.
Obama vs. God...I’ll pick God...
Thats Rascism.....Anti Semitism!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Who gives a flying f--k whether the US recognizes them or not.Try and attack Israel Obama, and see what happens.DO IT!!!!!!!
It doesn’t take Glenn Beck to realize Obama is racist.
An unbelievable phenomenon.

I pray that Mossad is prepared with a response for when Obambi orders (at gunpoint, just like in Germany and Soviet Russia) our airmen to shoot down the Israeli jets on their way to take out Iran's nuclear sites.
If you were an American fighter pilot who was told that if you failed to carry out your mission, your parents, wife, children, etc., would be killed, what would you do?
Laugh if you want, but this has been done in the not too distant past, many times.
