In my prayers.
It came through our area of the Philippines (via a traveler) a month ago. I was mildly ill, but several of the younger staff were flat for a couple days. Luckily none needed hospitalization....
(my husband and I are docs, so may be partly immune from being exposed to the Russian flu in the 1960s)

Thank you one all for your prayers. May the God of all bless you each as you have blessed me by your thoughtfulness and prayers.
We got great news today. According to the doctor our son is on the road to recovery. His lungs are clearing and the platelet count and CBC show evidence that the viral episode is over and our sons body is returning to his normal. Now our son has to continue to get rid of the secretions that have built up in his lungs. It will take a bit longer than the average child for our son to be able to get off BiPAP due to his disability. His doctors parting comments today were that she was just tickled that he was doing so well. Then she added you can’t keep the good guys down. It was a sweet and joyful exchange. God has indeed heaped His mercy and grace on us by allowing us more time with one of the most precious gifts we have ever received.
We thank God for His care, love and longsuffering towards us sinners. Praise be to His holy name!
