This is it; the story we were speculating about today. Well, this is the "pre-story" and the rest breaks tomorrow at noon (don't know EST or PST)
But, there is even a larger issue that hasnt yet received much attention in the press. Among the Obama Administration officials on the call were Buffy Wicks, Office of Public Engagement and the lead White House official on the Presidents Serve.Gov initiative to promote national service. Also on the call was Nell Abernathy, Director of Outreach for Serve.Gov. One of their mail goals on the call, it seems, was to encourage artists to produce works that would reinforce the Presidents call for service; specifically through the Serve.Gov web-portal.
As Dana Loesch recently reported at Big Government, the Serve.Gov portal funnels citizens to volunteer or service projects connected with ACORN and other leftist groups. The taxpayer-funded website is evolving into a cyber-recruitment tool for the progressive movement.
So what did happen on that call? Was the NEA coordinating with the White House to push their agenda on a group of artists eager for and reliant upon the NEA for grants, or is the NEA telling the truth that this call was not a means to promote any legislative agenda?
Tomorrow at noon ET, explosive new information will answer that question and raise many others.

I read this on Big Govt and Mickey Kaus. I’m still betting this is a diversion and tomorrow’s revelation comes out of left left field. And is quite a bit more important than some out of work artists.

Distasteful, but not surprising if you've paid any attention at all to this bunch. But I doubt this is a blockbuster that will resonate with most of the public, if in fact this is what the story is about tomorrow. I appreciate the work done by Breitbart, et al, but I'm worried that they may end up creating high expectations where there are none. The ACORN thing certainly has worked out well enough, but I was really hoping that something related to voter fraud would be the big story. That is something that the majority of Americans would understand and stand against. But this NEA propaganda stuff? I doubt it.

I might be wrong but I think the conference call was illegal and punishable by jail time for at least one White House officer.

Seems like I saw an almost exact story like this a few weeks ago....Something smells...

I agree - reprehensible but not public alerting....public too much asleep. I think this early release of info is a diversion. There must be something bigger to release tomorrow...I am hoping for a direct tie of Obama funds to/from ACORN and SEIU...something other than NEA being directed to make red/white and blue swastikas for Obama...just don’t think the public will be that shocked!
