I expect the bank will be asking him to find another bank, as being confrontational with bank robbers is against their policy.

I love seeing older people with an attitude in these situations. They just don’t put up with any s**t. The hero was all over the robber. Priceless.

The FBI will probably want the Good Samaritan prosecuted.

Bank robberies are FBI job security, and they want to see as many as possible occur.

The woman bank employee went over here and kicked the robber in the head. That probably slowed him down a whole lot. She did real good!

"Bank robberies are FBI job security, and they want to see as many as possible occur."

Have any mavericks like Ron Paul at least tried to propose bills that take such interests away from the Feds, to remove that incentivization? They were given that power in the 20s/30s I assume?

In ObamaLand:

1) Brave citizen is reprimanded by police.
2) Robber is hailed as a 'freedom fighter'.
3) Brave citizen is fired from job.
4) Robber is given job with ACORN. 6) Robber is set free because brave citizen is racist.
7) Brave citizen pays reparations to robber.
8) Robber sues brave citizen and wins, getting all of the brave citizen's property.

I enjoy seeing this as much as anybody.

Unfortunately, some consideration should be given to the possibility that the perp might actually be toting a bomb, and that it might go off in the struggle.

5 or 20 dead people is not a happy ending.

Argh. Let's try that again.

In ObamaLand:

1) Brave citizen is reprimanded by police.
2) Robber is hailed as a 'freedom fighter'.
3) Brave citizen is fired from job.
4) Robber is given job with ACORN.
5) Brave citizen is jailed for unauthorized vigilantism.
6) Robber is set free because brave citizen is racist.
7) Brave citizen pays reparations to robber.
8) Robber sues brave citizen and wins, getting all of the brave citizen's property.

The perp might be wearing pink underwear too, but nobody really knows... Sometimes ya’ just got to act with speed and purpose. I'm not recalling that many bank robbers detonating themselves in a holdup. You? Freep on ! ;o)

Unfortunately, some consideration should be given to the possibility that the perp might actually be toting a bomb, and that it might go off in the struggle.

Or more likely, the prep might have pulled out a gun, and in the ensuing struggle, an innocent bystander might have gotten shot. I like a brave man as much as the next guy, but the problem is, the 'hero' is not just risking his own life (which is all well and fine), but he's risking someone else's life (which is not all well and fine). And these lives are being risked over what? Saving Bank of America a few hundred bucks?

If he detonates himself, accidentally or otherwise, he ain’t gonna be able to spend the money . . . . unless he’s really a hostage like that pizza guy. But that’s the only case of that sort I’ve ever heard of.

LOL! I missed that. Good for her.

The older white guy who tackled the robber was probably a “racist.” ;-)

These lives are being risked over a little thing I like to call the Rule of Law.

If everyone did what these old folks did, there would be very few criminals.
