Federal Judge Clay Land may have made good on his threat of sanctions against a lawyer for an army officer fighting deployment on the claim that President Barack Obama was not born in this country. In an order today Judge Land denied a motion for a Stay of Deployment for Captain Connie Rhodes, filed by Attorney Orly Taitz yesterday. The motion was filed after Judge Land threatened sanctions and dismissed the complaint calling it frivolous. Taitz has 14 days to show why a $10,000 penalty as a sanction should not be imposed against her. We tried reaching Taitz. She has not returned our calls.
In a bizarre twist, News 3 has received a copy of a letter to Judge Clay Land, written by the officer in this case, Captain Connie Rhodes. In it she writes she is shipping out to Iraq and asks the Judge to withdraw the Motion to Stay the Deployment. She denies authorizing Taitz to file on her behalf.

President Bush didn’t *APPOINT* judges, he *NOMINATED* them. In September 2001, when Land was *CONFIRMED*, the Senate was *CONTROLLED* by the Dems. You can *TALK* all you *WANT* about President Bush, but the *FACT* is the Dems *CHOSE* the judges at that time.
That's a crock and you know it. Congress was doing Bush's bidding in Sept. of 2001.
Please try harder next time.
Sad to say the rest of the fable was never written.
Unable to find a publisher the fledgling author became broken and depressed. He suffered increasingly from acute paranoia and soon thereafter committed suicide by shooting himself in the back of the head three tmes with a single action Russian revolver.
His badly deteriorated remains were eventually discovered in a remote section of Fort Marcy Park by a former FBI agent who is now employed as a top security consultant by Goldman Sachs.
The unfinished manuscript has never been found.

I am trying to check Orly’s site, but it’s giving me a “SITE NOT FOUND error message (?)
Since I place the most credibility on you two members, did Sinclair’s letter get debunked ? and is this Rhodes complaint a hoax also...or is it too early to tell ?
I cannot imagine Orly filing an appeal without clearing it with her client, so a hoax wouldn’t surprise me.
Thx so much.
She should just pay the $10,000 and move on. Orly has a much better chance with justice Carter. Carter seems like a reasonable man, who puts his politics aside.
I don’t believe any of this stuff about Orly. I’ll wait for Orly to address it and our day in court. The rest is all speculation,
And used Vulcan mind control to get GWB to nominate them. Canny, that.
Curiously, the Constitution says that the President shall nominate and appoint.
Carter seems like a reasonable man, who puts his politics aside.
Will Judge Carter seem like a reasonable man if or when he dismissed the suit?
ping
Libs don't give a *DARN* about the Constitution.

Look very closely at the signature it was cut and pasted from another document. They left the signature line from the document it was cut and pasted from and you will notice they cut off part of the signature below where they typed in cpt. Connie M. Rhodes, MD.
Thx Red-—I viewed this site and see no current updates...the one below
http://www.orlytaitzesq.com/blog1/
is the one where Orly stated that Sinclair’s letter was never filed...I think that was as of yesterday....so the site with the “blog” suffix appeared to be more current, except that it is currently down....I am hoping and praying that the Van Jones and APORN exposures will serve as forerunners for some breaking news re: BO. Did you listen to any of the links from Laurie Roth radio broadcasts ? If Beck could expose the media GAG order for the eligibility issue, that would be great..although Beck has trashed the birthers, for whatever reason ? (job security perhaps ?)
Nor do you, apparently, since you’re misrepresenting it.
Yeah, Clay Land is just one of the many far-left, activist judges that George W. Bush placed on the bench during his tenure.
I read his bio. Jeez! He's a regular Ruth Bader Ginsburg!
There is an interesting post on her site from a few hours ago from DomainKeys:
On Taitz’s web site: “Friday, September 18, 2009 4:17 PM
From: This sender is DomainKeys verified .....”
The federal rule 11 allows the judge to assess penalties for groundless and non meritorious waste of court time. My assumption is that the sanction will be far greater than $10,000. You should brace for more like $50,000. Obama has substantial policy flaws but this birther crap is kooky.
CJCS can execute deployment orders to units after he receives authorization from the Secretary of Defense. The Secretary of Defense works for the President in the Executive Branch and is the same as the President himself who ordered the deployment.
