Here is a poll question as to whom Freepers prefer to be the POTUS. The list is fairly extensive, but even at that there will be those who's choice is not listed. It does however have the usual suspects and category for other.

Interesting thing about this poll is John McCain is not on the list. Doe anyone really think he will even attempt top run?

Yes, and he can sing “Uneasy Rider” at the inauguration.

Too many Freepers view Sarah as THEIR Obamassiah.

I see Sarah as an innocent conservative, one who lives and breathes it without apologizing. She's 3000 miles from Harvard and the East Coast Wing of RINOville.

Best of all, the Left hates her with a passion. I like that. It just so happens I hate the Left with a passion, too. I hate their communism, I hate their hatred of America.

One thing you can say about Sarah is: she loves this country. That's all I need in a President- one who loves America as I do 'cause they'll act in our best interests. Ever notice how little Obama has to say in favor of this country? Ever wonder why?

Sarah will soon hit the speaking circuit and draw many fans. She'll make many 'new' fans as she tours about. What won't be reported is that she'll be hitting on all points that Americans have longed to hear. Just wait and see. This isn't based upon faith, it's what my eyes have seen and it's coming to a town near you.

Ich habe keine Idee!
Or as we who speak english would say,
I have no idea!

Better hurry up and decide, because 2012 is just down the road. And it seems that we need to start pumping cash into a conservative that can actually beat the MSM, Sorros, Hollywood, ACORN, Laraze, and Obama's plus billion dollar Juggernaut that will try to roll the Americans again.

I voted for Hunter, figuring I’d be the only vote. Lo and behold, he’s got the most votes at 8%.

I picked Palin but i think it will be Fearless Dick Cheney as Pres and Sarah Palin as VP...@nd choiice would be a Petraeus/Palin ticket...Newt should be in there too...a Dark Horse would be a Barbour/Palin ticket...Very last choice would be a McCain/Carter ticket if that were possible

Whatever happens—please no tired old retreads for President even if they lost life and limb or conquered the Martians...we need fresh blood in the WH...

Thanks for the ping JAN. A little early maybe but so far I'm still behind Palin. Not my final decision because I want to hear what all the prospective candidates have to say.

BTW it was GREAT meeting you and JR at the Cranberry PA Tea Party Express stop! When my legs started to give out I sorta wandered away. It was a long, hard walk back to the truck and I was VERY tired, LOL!

In fact so tired I made a wrong turn and ended going north on back roads about an hour before I could get turned around! Got home around 8pm...slept for a couple of hours and then off to work until 8AM.

I was tired but the Tea Party Express was WELL WORTH IT!

It's too bad I couldn't get the weekend off so I could be with you in DC. Now that was ONE GREAT FREEP!

Think Sarah/Hunter leads it.

I would vote HUNTER/SESSIONS....

Jeff Sessions has stepped up these last few years as the leader for conservatives in Congress. He has put his back in defeating several Obama train wrecks before they were passed.

I could just as easily vote JEFF SESSIONS/DUNCAN HUNTER

As could I. I like Sessions. He’s one of a little more than a handful of pub senators with a pair.

Wish I could be a mental giant like you someday.

Using proper grammar would be a good place for you to start.
Should be: some day (two words, not one)

You are pretty much a nuisance, pissant. You're a drama queen, and a phony. You still have not asked your hero, Hunter, his opinion of the 'critical' birth cert. issue and Obama. Amazing!

Duncan Hunter will never win the GOP nomination. I love Duncan Hunter. He is immentley qualified to be POTUS. He would probably do the best job of any of the contenders mentioned here. BUT - Duncan Hunter is a terrible campaigner. Not only will Hunter never be POTUS. He will also never be the Senator from or Governor of California. Most Freepers never had a chance to see any DH campaign commercials or materials because he was gone by the time their state voted. I had the opportunity to visit NV when DH was still campaigning there and heard his Radio Ads and TV spots. - TERRIBLE. I know a lot of Freepers get mad when people talk about electability but we have to face the fact that the President of the US is not chosen by A) The Free Republic B) CPAC or C)Talk Radio. We have to put forward a candidate that can inspire, persuade, and seal the deal. Although Duncan Hunter’s character, values, and political ideolgy are golden, he doesn’t even have the campaign skills of John McCain or Bob Dole. The best analogy for Duncan Hunter is that he is the sweet, smart, homely girl that no one ones to date but makes the best wife. POTUS is a race for the pretty girls (and I don’t just mean Mitt & Sarah.) Duncan Hunter, like that homely girl who someday makes the best wife will someday be a great Secretary of Defense or Secretary of State but he is never getting elected President.

Thanks for letting us DH fans down gently. We've got to accept that the man has near-zero retail appeal.

People just don't flock to Hunter and never will.

But he'll make a great DHS head or SecDef for Pres. Palin.

I wish Franco could run with Friedrich Ebertor or General Pinochet.

Those guys knew how to handle Communists.

They would be sick to see how much we’ve conceded to the Marxists they spent their lives fighting.
