Well, extend them again. The sun never sets on dependency.

Regardless of where one stands on unemployment benefits and extensions and such, a lot of people will be hurting with the lack of job growth out there. Prayers going up for them.

This is where it gets interesting. How will states with no money left extend benefits? When this occurs the MSM will have no choice but to report on it which will then cause many to question the unemployment numbers. This could be a one-two punch to the Dems chances next fall.

But it will be better than expected.

Dow climbed 90 points on the optimistic news.

What a joke.

“MAY”??

“Will” is more like it.

As the ration of worker/tax-payer to unemployed/collecting-benefits increases, the gov. will be forced to print so much money that the unemployed, even if given their old wages/salaries back through unemployment won’t be able to pay the bills.

We should dig up J. M. Keynes so that we can pi$$ on his skull.

Yep. Obama will claim that since fewer people are drawing unemployment, then things MUST be getting better!

State by state things vary. In PA, for example, workers pay into thefund directly.

More telling in this period are going to be what percentage the welfare ranks grow in proportion to the exhaustion of the unemployment benefits. We need to start a running statistic of this to see if there is any correlation.

Prayers for those who are suffering. My brother has been out of work 7 months, my hubby and brother in law had to close their business and find other work (hubby was out of work for 4 months). Thank God they are both back to work now, but who knows whats going to happen.

These government liers who figure have been making a mess of the Bureau of Labor numbers since LBJ.

U-6 is the more accurate number ( includes under-employed : folks working part time and looking for full time ).

Now the children running the old media follow the politician friendly numbers of U-3.

Plus several other too clever by half tricks.

exactly, which is why watching that correlation will produce the facts the media has chosen to bury by using U3.
