Operation CAN YOU HEAR US NOW moved to Saturday...
Website ^ | 9/15/09 | Webmaster

Posted on 09/15/2009 10:59:51 AM PDT by Ibleedred

Overwhelming responses want this on a Saturday - OKAY, then let it be written... Saturday it is!!!

Obviously, the "main stream" media are hard of hearing and seeing. About 2 million mad-as-hell taxpayers assembling in Washington, D.C. for the largest-ever (most well-behaved ever, most respectful ever) protest did not make it onto their radar screens (or our TV screens).

They need our help... surely those who longed to go and couldn't would love to be a part of Operation "Can You Hear Us Now?"

Well my friends, HAVE I GOT A PLAN FOR YOU...

People still listen to the media. We need to educate people.

We need a day when we can cancel the OSM (Old Stream Media) Subscriptions, be it a newspaper subscription, a cable news subscriptions (if you have ala carte channel subscription), or internet subscription.

We should pick a day and flood the subscription departments of these outlets with complaints of their non coverage as the reason we are canceling.

Money talks and maybe the sound of it flying away will wake their deaf ears.

They are becoming educated despite the media. That's why the tea party crowds are growing without a majority of media coverage.

They will have less back office staff on a Saturday, but the news desk folks work seven days.

Obviously whoever is planning this event is not really spending a lot of time thinking about the logistics. It's like he's just pulling these dates out of the air. First October 14, for no apparent reason, then October 17, because some people (probably one or two) thought it should be on a Saturday instead.

Dates like April 15, July 4, September 12 (day after 9/11) have secondary meanings.

I would think that November 4, 2009, the one year anniversary of the coronation of the Kenyan, would be a very good symbolic day.

But why October 17?

Just because?

Yes, I’d like to see it happen on a weekday during so called ‘prime time’ news at each of the networks, CNN, CBS, NBC and ABC. Make it obvious, so they can only try to pretend to ignore it.

They need to know, without a doubt, that their bias has been exposed... and that AMERICANS give them NO CREDIBILITY of professionalism any more. Their biased arrogance is making them irrelevant in the world of information.
++++++++++++++++++

They will no longer have this throat clearing authority that they once did. “The New York Times reports”...”Today in the news...” DaN RaTHer...

And the libtards who quote them like their gospel will no longer be able to cite them with any credibility.

I still say Halloween is a better day to do this - how much fun would it be dressing up and doing this? It’s a reason to get ppl exicited and creative - I mean who wouldn’t want to dress up like Olbermann wearing all of his NBC pro-O’ gear.

I just think it would be a lot more fun and Halloween is also on a Saturday this year - what else is scarier than our very own Pravda! Time to haunt them back ;)

They will ‘spike’ these events the way they did last weekends.

I’m with you. There should be a “hook” to the event. IMHO that is the day Onadacare comes up for a Senate vote. If it’s a weekday so what. It is the ideal time because it sends the message that we are prepared to risk our jobs and incomes to take back our country from the socialists.

If the Valley Forge patriots could endure that 1773 winter, surely we can handle a day away from the office.

We will be protesting in fron of empty offices. The media will take a “tree falls in the forest” stance.

On the other hand, there are signs that the a lot more folks don't care what the media says.

I meant that people are still listening to the media and believing it.

As the media ignores the our crowds and refuses to report about our activities, little by little people will give up on the media and begin to search out blogs and talk radio to find out what it going on.

So, if the media ignores the next event, it’s all good.
