R.I.P. Thank you for the memories.
RIP Patrick.
Prayers up and angels dispatched for his family and all who loved him. He deserves respect for his courage in facing this terrible disease.
Prayers for his eternal rest, and for the comfort and consolation of his loved ones.
I’m sorry to hear this. My heart goes out to his family and friends.
I don’t like seeing people’s life cut short. It’s sad to see a guy cut down by health so early in life.
RE: post #6
Isn’t it a sad, sad statement that an admin mod had to remove a comment on this thread. Whomever you were who posted it; shame on you; I hope you’re not someone I thought I respected on FR.!
RIP Patrick Swayze.
Of all the cancers that exist, this is the one I hate the most. My best friend in the world died of pancreatic cancer at age 36. From her diagnosis to the day she died was less than 3 months. The last few weeks, she was put into a drug induced coma, as the Docs said the pain would actually kill her. This disease shows no signs until it is too late to fight it.
I miss you each and every day, Mel.

God bless and keep you, Patrick.
To sad of a thread to say what I thought. Still haven’t told Mrs. Springman.
Patrick was a great man and actor who fought a long and courageous battle with cancer. May he rest in peace. Thoughts and prayers are with his wonderful wife and family. May God comfort them during this difficult time.

Did not know you personal, but I feel your absence.Though we have your memories.
Thanks.
Yes, he did appear to be a genuinely good and decent man and i’m terribly sad about his death. This particular cancer needs more funding and a cure. SOON.
Was this a necessary post on this thread?
IIRC, his grandfather was John Cameron Swayze. Patrick was born to “right” family but he never seemed to be an elitist liberal snob. If he was in his personal life I don’t care.
RIP to a good and dedicated entertainer.
Go Wolverines!
RIP Patrick!! Word is you mess with Dalton and he’ll seal your fate.
Every morning, before leaving for school, my sister always had Dirty Dancing playing in the VCR to my annoyance. She and my Mom would watch Ghost almost every Saturday! My wife holds almost all of his movies as important parts of her growing up.
I can tell a lot of girls will have a broken heart today.
