I just received a call from CPT Connie Rhodes good friend with whom I have been in contact over the past several weeks
He indicated that Judge Land (Federal District Judge, Middle District of Georgia) will provide a Ruling on CPT Rhodes' TRO as well as The Defense's motion to Dismiss.
Pray for Judge Land and CPT Rhodes.

Do you have enough time before MRD so that you will come into the zone for LTC and still have 3 years to serve if selected? If not, then like myself, getting center of mass is OK. I will hit MRD before I come into the zone for USAR LTC consideration. I will actually encourage senior raters to give me center of mass so they can use the above for those that have time enough left to promote. You know they have limits on above mass percentages.
Now if you will come into the LTC board zone soon, having a center of mass rating could hurt...especially for LTC in the USAR where it starts getting competetive. The big thing will be your having at least completed ILE(CGSC) and other mil and civilian education. Also, the types of assignments you have held makes a difference. Have you had Battalion XO or S-3 time...etc. I think boards tend to view DIMAs as lesser forms of USAR existence (I’m a DIMA also).
The CPT though is in a more precarious position. Should she decide she wants to stay in the regular army, she could be hurt when she comes up for MAJ. However, she may have no intention of staying in, so this may not be a fear for her. What I’m more concerned about is them charging her with conduct unbecoming an officer because she said derogulatory things about a POTUS. That would be an “atom bomb” approach, but it could be used if the current POTUS decides he is tired of dealing with this issue and pressures the SECDEF and SECARMY to push prosecution. Especially, if the judge does not grant her an injunction. Because she bravely challenged a sitting POTUS....she could be made an example of. I hope this does not occur. Do you think it could?
I go before the LTC board this/next week and have 8 years to MRD, so no worries on getting in enough time in grade if promoted. However, the big question for me is whether or not my packet will be reviewed “honestly” or have one of those secret “Red Flags” assigned to it.
I’m already in an O5 duty position - have been for the past 4 years (2 in my current position {Team Chief} and 2 in my prior duty position, so I really can’t see how a certer of mass could knock me out of the running. And Yes, I’m a DIMA also.
Asto the CPT: she was stop-lossed, and really does not want to make a career out of the Army.

It looks like the judge was harsh and wanted to criticize Taitz or humiliate her. It doesnt look good because the Judge doesnt seem to want to touch the Birth Certificate issue and grant Taitz authority to verify its Authentic. The Judge needs to grant Taitz discovery in order to do this. I think the judge will rule in the governments favor and I dont like that.

I think that it is very possible that we heard only “one side” of the hearing and heard that one side from a slanted perspective.
In other words, what we know about what happened at the hearing is only as good as what has been reported by a single reporter.
It will be very helpful to get a fuller description of the hearing from others who attended.

I would want to hear from the other side before assuming I know what happened and what the Judge thinks.
I wonder if we have Orly’s side of what when on the hearing. According to the news source only Orly spoke and the judge only spoke to Orly. I would guess he was talking with Obama’s lawyers, too. I want to know that part of the hearing.

Provide a ruling? Of course, he can hardly not provide a ruling. The immediate question is “when” and then of course “what” the ruling will be. But I suspect Judge Land will keep that close to his vest until the announcement of the rulings.

It would be extreme irony if the original birth documents are supeoned and they show birth in a Hawaian, or even Washington state, hospital and the father's name is blank, or shows someone other than BHO Sr as the babydaddy.
Somehow I don't think concealing that would be worth $1M+, of money BO could have spent for other purposes, even if it is other people's money.
